Hey,

I wanted to ask, what kind of layers do I need to protect against pistol and carbine shots? I was thinking energy or blast, but not sure which panels I will need to make in order to protect more against those weapons. Since most of the people use some type of pistol or carbine, figured it would be a good idea to make some padded armor with added resistance versus that type of damage. Can someone help me out on what I should do?

i was wondring if the layers really work ?

i just made an ubese chest plate with heat layer, then i try to duel a friend to look at the result:

after 10 body shot from a FWG5 the conclusion is clear: damage go through the armor or FWG5 don't do heat damage , so the questionis simple: is it normal ?

Armor has some bugs in it. Right now it only seems to block when it feels like it no matter what the % or what type (bone, chitin, ubese, ect) it is. If you look around you will find several posts on this.

I'm not sure what a fair price for them are... I wouldn't pay 25k per plate for them like people are trying to charge for krayt scales. It's not worth it for that. Depending which ones they are, maybe 3-5k. For those, i'd probabaly go with 3k or lower. There are some that also have a - to mind, or have as high as 5%... those probably at 5k. But, being it takes in excess of 80 to make a full suit of armor, even that migh be too expensive, but it would be fair I guess.

I got my Experamentation up 95% and still the highest I have seen is +4% to base. Has anyone gotten to +5% Base on layers?

I'm pretty sure it is possible, given near-perfect resources.

Is it possible to get a base of 5% on layers like energy? If so what is the percent cut off.

I get

Base: 2%

Kinetic Resists: 12%

I was wondering what other people get? I get about 70% resists with adv ubese.

Also, is base 3% Kinetic 10% better?

Current for us is 2/ 14/14/14/14. Put as much into kinetic as you can for ubese. Then you can decide to raise base, or lower ham ( I recommend lowering ham).
