Thread: Highest Kin Mabari with/without layers?
I hit 25% on the final combine at 97% experimentation. Just got some better Bronzium ironfor the Adv. segment, but haven't tried it yet. I don't have access to the stats on the resources atm.
You're right about the fasion. The color palette is great for this armor and it's very light. I've made a few custom sets for lady doctors in pinks and purples...they love it. The helm looks pretty good on a Twi'lek too.

Doin fashion rather than all out use and wondered what is high Kin for Mabari so I know what roughly to aim for with/without layers.
My Coloured Ubese is flyin out the door and Pink is suprisingly sellable even wih only 60% Kin.
Not been MA for long and havent got all the ingredients for the other armous though I'll probably give them ago in fashion lines aswell.
With 90% Experimentation on the final product, my 7% Base Adv Segments yield 26% Kinetic resists in the final product. I imaging that the max is 27-28% without enhancements, but i can't remember what the Experimental value was on my segment, so i'm sure that could be higher than 7% base...
i hit 49% heat if that matters lol
btw can't use layers in mabari.

We hit 8.5 % on the segment, and 32% kinetic final combine on Intrepid. Also hit 57% heat with the same resources. Also, I could only hit that with 12 experimentation points. I was able to put all 12 points into base for segments.
god i wish i had your resources... i love Mabari
Hmm.....when I compare my post with the one where someone makes 32% kinetic mabari, there must be something wrong. Are you making use of enhancements? Or did you craft on that one special day? Or is my model wrong?
Emily
I had no trouble making the 32% ( when I wasn't freaking failing). Let me dig out the resource list of what I was using
Some aren't listed on swgcraft, so I'll have to ask Dova to dig out the oq/sr ( I gave him all my resources).
Ekaine Bronzium over 900 oq/ and over 700 or 800 sr ( edit - 956 oq/ 714 sr)
Riwando Ditanium, similar stats to ekaine
corellian fiberplast ( over 950/950)
Dilvacho something polymer ( also over 950/950) ( edit - 980 oq/ 927 sr)
Emettiem duralloy steel ( also over 900/900, think over 950/950) ( may have been the kammris that came after, it was over 950/950 metal)
Dantooine Leathery hide ( over 950 oq/ sr) ( edit Olebarfeuv- 964/ 906) ( also had some bristley over 950/950, and some naboo scaley kicark -950/950)
The segment went to 8.5 +% base, and took all 12 of my points to fill, same with the final combine.

Ok, let me give you my data. For the segment I have the following:
Quality
1) The devs have already said, gated resources are taken into account, and don't hold back the final combine quality ( or our stun layers would look a whole lot worse)
2) You yourself pointed out your segments are alot less than mine. My final combine ingredients are also undoubtedly alot better. I specialized in maberi from get go ( more than 6 months ago), even AFTER I mastered. It's one reason I had a huge stockpile of ditanium when the imp shields came out, when many others didn't. ( As well as high quality scaley and bristley, I actually traded ubese for those hides).
3) Just looked in my house, and found a2 34% krayt/voritor pieces left on my vendor, made with only 4% scales. I had some 8.5 % base segments still in my medium house, but they aren't there anymore ( I gave my resources to Dova). I'll get ahold of him. He is now a 12 point smith I believe. If not, I'll ask him for some samples, and I'll give it to Charprime.
4) I remember asking Sunai to help me with my segments/final combine, because I couldn't max them as a 10 pointer, and he agreed ( however, I got my 12 points right after that, and he quit playing). At the time I was getting 28%, with only 6.8% or so segments. That means the segments maxing took me up to 30% and final combine maxing to 32%.
