Im a DE on Bloodfin and am looking to purchase a crate of 100 composite armor segments. If you anyone could make these and tell me a price that would be greatly appreciated.

I have been searching all over for a armorsmith to make me a crate of these things, but have had no responses. Are there any DEs that can give me some insight on this issue, Im not sure if these are really hard to make or really expensive but Im not getting any responses?

Check "Factory Crates" at the bazaar. I see those listed sometimes on there (chilastra server though)

it's not that hard to make i've got like 11 crates of it, msg Xardon he's the only Armorsmith i know who actually is willing to make the segments.

Hiya Im a Master DE and in order to make the higher end Droid Armor Mods, I need Composite Armor Segments.. Basicaly im just wanting to check to see how much I should expect to pay for them. I relise that yall cant get me an exact figure (prices vary by server ect). What im looking for is a ballpark figure, so I dont end up massivly overpaying for them

Any help yall could give would be appreciated, Thanks in advance!

Just regular composite segments? or can you use advanced composite? Would the advanced make better armor? Does the quality of the segments matter? If quality matters, expect to pay more, if not, then I'm sure you could get it dirt cheap..

I sell my composite segments to droid engineers at about 25-30 credits per resource required to make them.. From what I hear, quality is irrelevant.

Can you put the 4% krayt composite segments in them? That would work well too, because people give those away. (and armor segments stack, so you can just do two level 4s to equal a 6)

Here I am with another noob question, I always try and find the answer before I post but I couldnt see anything about this.

I see that I need to get composite armor segments to make level 6 armor modules, so I assume you all buy crates of those segments from armorsmiths. How much do you usually pay for a crate and does it matter what the quality of the segments are? Since the armor rating for lvl 6 Armor ismed 40% I cant see how the quality of the composite armor segments would matter, so they wouldnt need to experiment on them or add any optional parts right?

Agree. At this time, there is no advantage in using these. The only droid that currently needs armor is the Probot and you can put 2 lvl 4 modules to get to the max armor cap.

My armorsmith gifted me several crates of armor segments. I plan to hold on to them for the up coming combat droids. I figure they may be much more usefull then! It will be very interesting also to see if more advanced armor segements would confer higher armor stats then!! I may have her make me some just in case, but maybe this is wishful thinking.

I get my crates at cost, (about 3K,) from a guild mate but from talking to others I wouldn't pay more than 5k for a crate of 50 segements. The segements do not need any special layers or high quality resources since the specs get overwritten when we create our armour plates.
