Composite armor segments are well Composite Armor Segments. Visit you local Armorsmith he may have a few. And may also ask you some questions. Just tell him no Stats do not matter, just use the Regular NOT Advanced.

Better yet pick yourself up a Wearables Factory, then give him something like 18 metal ask for a schematic then just tip him 5000

Droid engineer use 'Composite Armor Segments' to make for exaple 'LEVEL 6 Armor modules'. These armor modules go in a droid and voila! YOu have a droid that can take a little more hits. I usualy equip my droids standard with LEVEL 6 Armor maxed-out.

most armorers will hook you up with a fun of 100-200 segs seeing stats dont matter for next to nothing,, forget about settting up a factory,, there is always a tailor, armor around that will have a factory sitting idle. Better yet bring along a nice droid an R2 with crafting station, data, storage, repair, merchant is a great combo im sure will gladly trade a bunch of crates of armor segs and now ya have a contact for that next time your running low on lidium ore

As 2 Level 4 Armor Segements equal 1 Level 6, save those Level 6's for the Combat LE Repair Droids you make. Don't waste them on the R series droids. As stacking them makes no diference at all
