I learned that you guys have to go through alot to make good armor. Anyone who never crafted before should log on to tc2 and find out how much effort and time it takes. You'll begin to appreciate what they do.
Thanks guys.

Got to give you five stars for this, because it is so nice to see someone try to understand why his comp is not delivered in minutes, rather than get angry about it. So thank you.
I can only back the others up on PSGs. What a joke they are. I think it took me most of a week using 3 factories to get a "full" run made up. Took me months to sell them and as I tend to scale price to resources, rather than time consumption, it was a pretty pointless exercise that I will probably never undertake again.

Infinity.

Thanks!
Most people think Armorsmith is an easy ticket to insane amounts of cash, but once they try it they realize how hard it is and how much work we end up putting into it.

Hehe, I got up to Chitin before I quit. And this from a guy who was a Bio-Engineer since before the creature changes last December (which were both wonderful and diabolically evil at the same time).
Being a wook, with no armor of any kind at the time and not being able to find a reliable source of PSG's (back when every once in a while they would resist kinetic), I wanted to make my own.
Well, I found out after my first box into the profession that practically EVERYTHING had to be factory made (all segments except mabari and bone I believe), and on top of that you needed to be a tailor and a master artisan if you wanted to make all the components yourself, throw in one of the worst grinds of any profession, and, well, I went back to mastering bio-engineer. Yes, grinding through to master BE on stacks of 500-1k meat was far preferable to all the murderous things any self sufficient armorsmith must do.
So, I have never been one of those whiners you so rightfully ridicule in other threads. And I give my 80% kinetic Kashyyykian Hunting armor a goodnight kiss every single night. By the way, did you know Kashyyykian Hunting armor not only looks cooler than composite, it also has far less mind and action encumberance? Even with most of my secondaries being capped at 550 I can wear a full suit without buffs.

<---Will never attempt to be an Armorsmith again. Maybe.

Try to make a batch of 332 imp psgs with one factory. That's the worst, I calculated it to be about 13 days.

The worst part is that if you want to take a couple days break, you have to time it for your layer and seg factory runs or you will have a break longer than you intended trying to get things ramped back up.
approx 1 week for Composite: 3 days for layers, 2 days for 1K layers, 2 days for 45 suits
Then, 2-3 days for those 45 suits to sell out *sigh*
