With the macros and solo groups its possible to master some of the combat classes in only a few days. Some people don't seem to notice that that really dosen't apply to armorsmith. Even if you ground all the way up there are still all the resources to harvest. Its hard work being a good smith.

Most people think Armorsmith is an easy ticket to insane amounts of cash, but once they try it they realize how hard it is and how much work we end up putting into it.

I have to agree. Amoung my characters I do (or have done) almost every crafting profession and armorsmith is one of the most challenging. At first I expected it to be like weaponsmith, but for that people hardly ever worry about anything but speed and damage (which are on the same experimentation line). So far the most difficult crafting professions I have done are tailor (because it is so subjective and customers often change their mind about what look they want several times in a session or debate over 3 different shades of grey, etc.), armorsmith (that should be obvious here) and bioengineer (because making pets is some sort of black magic and even if you end up with what you wanted the pet may turn out to be invalid).

All this is why I love and am addicted to this profession.

if it wasnt a challange, why do it? getting master is the easy part, being a good master is a total frickin pain but so much fun at the same time.

Try to make a batch of 332 imp psgs with one factory. That's the worst, I calculated it to be about 13 days.

I dread restocking my imp psgs so when i do it i go all out and make 2 full rus of Imp PSGs and one mostly full run of MK3s to stick in the bags of full suits

takes 8 of my factories about 3 days to run he components and then ties up one for 4 days or so making the final sheilds.

If anyone wants to craft armor on TC2 but needs material, give me a yell on Ahazi.sevarhin or ahazi.ciparis. I've got every single best-ever spawn for composite, and I don't care to play on TC2, so I don't mind passing some material along for those who do.

I became an armorsmith in august last year. I didn't realize it was hard (I had nothing to compare it too) till after I had mastered. Course that was the straitforward part. After that came months of collecting resources, figuring out how the wacky crafting system worked, and everythign else. But I'm sorta invested now so don't feel like going anywhere.

i think it would be fun to do other professions as well (or perhaps take a day off) but i'vetatooed this one inside my eyelids (you know what i mean), and moving into something else would be a whole new curve that my 2 remaining functional brain cells cant handle.
