I know its early, but can we expect to see a "resource spoiler" out for the new factional armor sometime before it goes live? Would be nice to know what resources to horde so a good resource doesn't pass us by.

All I know is that i've collected everything I need for Chitin, Ubese, Padded and composite. I have no idea what is instore for us on factional armor. Starting to worry about that myself.
Really thinking they will be using resources that we currently have for the main armor types.

as the main goal of the new armour is to encourage people to enter the GCW more and increase the "starwarsyness"(if that is a word) of the game, I can't see them making the resource requirements too insane, if they invent new resources ala shipwright style then it will only take longer to get decent factional armour crafted. I am hoping their intentions are to get people into the factional gear and fighting the gcw ASAP so they won't put a bottle neck into the armour production side of things by introducing rare resource requirements.
But then I can only hope

I've heard there are no resource requirements. You have to start with the current factional armor (purchased with FP from recruiter) and the new armor can only be crafted by inserting the bought pieces into a special terminal added to player factional bases. Master armorsmith can only make three of the pieces, you need a tailor and a DE to make the rest.
Well ok... I didn't hear that... I just made it up!
Wow that would make some people mad....

Heh, yeah.
Seriously though, my guess is that the new armors are going to follow the pattern SOE used for Ithorian armor. The 3 new armor types will be like chitin, padded, and composite.

As long as any resource isn't Dantooine Horn or Rancor Toenail Clippings

That's exactly what I was thinking too.
