The armor is on display in the SkyStone Cantina near Mos Entha on Tatooine on Test Center.

Took me 3 hours to gather the resources for the advanced segments and some of the specific resources just plain suck.

Didn't use any layers in the segments yet, Mountain takes 2 and Hunting 3.

(No Hunting Chestplate until they remove the horn resource requirement)

Avg Stats/Resists

Mountain
Special Resist - Kinetic 50%
Cold 30%
Blast 30%
Electricity 30%
Energy 30%

Hunting
Special Resist - Kinetic 60%
Cold 40%
Blast 40%
Electricity 40%
Energy 40%
Acid 40%
Heat 40%

You think that is good? One is supposed to be composite, and the other ubese. Maybe they cloned padded as both or something.

you think this is the best it will get?
This is probably made with resources that have just been found and thrown together, and you can't make any judgement until better resources have been found and the armor has been layered.
Go make a suit of comp with junk resources that you just had lying around and come back here and post the stats. I gaurentee you wont be getting 80% kinetic out of it.

One is suposed to be a composite clone...

and so far neather are composite clones

and with the use of soft woods of all things the resist stats will never reach anywhere near composite...

so it sounds like they made the armor in line with the combat rebalance, but did not care to tell the developer working on this armor that they pushed it back until 2005 now... and he has no idea on how the crafting system work... so he just selected a random assortment of organic reosouces to use...

or it was this

*interior SOE offices*

Ok we need to come up with wookie armor... so what should we give them...

Well it needs to be made from wood as they are primitives...

yeah thats a great idea

now lets give the tailors back their experimentation for a new armor segment for the wookie armors so that they can use it and it can be our scapegoat for adv. techonology that some people clame the wookies can use...

Now lets just get some intern to use the resouce filter and have him use the following as the criteria... Wood, bone, and hides

then lets randomly assign them to the schematics

ooooo lets use this HORN we have in game because the art work has horns...

Oh thats a great idea...

Ok wookiee armor is done

back to sitting on our lorals of jedi superiority!

/sarcasm off...

Character Name: Chalvooka WOOKIEE FROM DAY ONE!! still a wookiee even after a small break from SWG!!! A Wookiee from before wookiee armors and ROTW or RTOS!!!!

QFE - and for all of those that want to critique the stats

Thank you very much for the information on the resists! This is very helpful and wonderful of you. Knowing the Special and the base (and by elimination the vulnerabilities) which is exactly the information I find useful

Now, can someone on Test post the palettes, please? Which one do these use or do they use their own special ones? And if they use a unique palette can you please, pretty please post an image of it?

well looking at that armor, the triple layered stuff, ur'll need to make some 7/7/6 kinetic lairs to bring in the other 20% kinetic to max it out, without experimenting on special. Then its all base experiments for the segs and up. Im sure there is many others to do it, but that way seems like the best way to get a high base too.

Also, kinetic is the 2nd most common attack type, other than stun, so a 40stun/80kinetic/50-55% base is actually probably possible with wookiee battle armor. The resource requirements are a pain, but i think the wooks will have a good advantage in pvp now, with lower ham costs (probably) and a more stable suit of armor. Throw in some rancor hide (i think) and the energy goes up too, and u have one sweet pvp suit.

These stats are a slight improvement over the last armor. But this is in now way comparable to comp armor. Then agian, maybe we are looking at comp armor after combat revamp???

Hehe, well the big difference on both these armors is the layer slots - 2 for Mountain and 3 for Hunting. I will be making some kinetic layered hunting and acid/heat layered mountain later today.

As for the horn, god only knows.

Color palette for Mountain is the same as Ceromonial, which is brown and shades of brown.

The hunting has 4 color palettes, from feather tip color, to feather color, to armor color to fabric color. You have the whole palette for this armor and can make some stunning/crazy looking stuff.

And yes I used the current spawn of specific resources on Test Center for Dath Evergreen, Yav Deciduous, Endor Conifer and Yav Evergreen, as that is all i could get. For the hides, I used the current spawn of specific resources on Test Center for Corellian Wooly, Tatooine Wooly and Dath Leathery. A lot of the wood and hides are poor oq/sr at the moment.

I also only have 11xp pts.
