Ok, I know we had a thread for this but i can't find it, but this just happened and its pretty bad.
Conversation=
Cust> Hi
Me> Hi (usually a bad sign, but some people turn out really nice, and there's lots of competition)
Cust> Guess what i need
Me> Please don't say repairs, lol
Cust> nope
Me> Armor would be the obvious remaining (choice)
Cust> yes...composite
Me> My vendor is only 800m SE of the spaceport, I just stocked it with Stun and Kinetic composite, over 40 suits of each.

I look and haven't received any notices about purchases
Me> hmmm, I haven't gotten any notices that stuf was bought, how long ago was this? you can always offer it back to the vendor at purchase price.

Cust then sends me wp and I head over
I get there and look at vendor, they are the same and abot 20% less
Me> hmm, pricing is a bit odd, gloves take half the resources of arm peices but they're only 5k less, but I guess I'll spend tomorrow flying around and getting prices.
Cust> wait...
Me> k
Cust> can I have 35k so I can get a right bicep?
Me> hehe, come-on, you're not even buying from me.
Cust> ok, gimme enough moeny to buy a right bicep from u and ill pay u back asap cuz im going to do missions right after this.

it just didn't seem to want to end....
anyway, i suppose others have stories like this, might be nice to share some and reduce the aggrivation.

me: (Noticing Master Armorsmith title) Yes I can - what are you looking for?
customer:I want some composite - I have about 7k credits

customer: Hey can you make me a suit of 80% Composite with these Krayt things and Nightsister Layers I have looted?
me:Sure - how many of each do you have? stats?
customer procedes to show me 4 x 4% krayt segments and a set of 3 x 3% ns layers......

customer:can you make me some mandalorian armor?

yep, similar,
the type of stories where at the time they make you mad, but when you repeat them to your friends you can't help but laugh
I have a wookiee in my guild that twice in a month had purchased armor,it wasn't wookiee armor and he asks me why it wouldn't go on. 2ndtime Ididn't refund his money.
Makes the game more interesting and appreciate the good customers

me: sorry, I do have other armor on the vendor that is a lot cheaper, how about Mabari (actually more than 4K for a suit, but..)
cust: no, I really have to have Ubese
me: you can wear the less expensive armor to work on earning the money to buy more expensive armor
cust: can you loan me a suit of Ubese?
me: no
(yes, I really do try to be nice... much to my detriment some days)
-about 5 minutes pass (not more than 5 minutes)-
same cust: How about 44K, can I have the Ubese for 45K?
me: no
me: weren't you the one who just 5 mins ago said all you had was 4K?
cust: well yeah but...
(I tuned him out at that point... I don't put people on ignore, except for a couple very annoying starport spammers, but I do let them fade into the background noise)
Thankfully the twits are the minority. I have a lot of wonderful customers... I even have some who bring me good quality hides for no charge simply because they want to be able to get the best armor from me *blink*.

Anyone who brings me good quality stuff, especialy if they just give it to me gets very nice treatment...
The customers like the others in this thread? that's what /addignore and the banlist on my shop are for....
Think my worst experience wasn't even truely a customer, but just some annoying person who started cussing me out and calling me names, just because I didn't answer a question fast enough for him. Him and his 2 buddies got on my ingore and ban lists really quick. And actualy, ended up on cityban as well, they were that rude.

me: yes, its 650k for the suit.
cust: can i trade you a crystal for it?
me: no, the suit is 650k
cust: but you can get more than 650k for this crystal.
me: sorry, i don't trade for my armor. the price stands at 650k.
cust: i really need your armor, can't we work something out?
me: (i said this to the customer) /addignore
he never responded

me: I'm afraid I can't.
customer: If you give me the rest of the armor I will go and advertise for you and get you more customers!
me: I can just get an ad barking droid for that.
customer: Yeah but I will DEMAND that they come buy from you.
me: brb (and never returned lol)

cust: can i give you 40k and my ubese suit for it?
me: uhm.. sorry but no
cust: then can you give me 150k.
me: for what?
cust: so i can buy your armor.
me: why would i give you money to buy my armor?

cust: so are you going to give me the money?

This happened when I was fairly new still:
Cust: Can you make armor experimented for encumberance instead of effectiveness
Me:I don't really do custom orders.
Cust: Please, my AS who used to make this for me left the game.
Me: Hmm, I don't know..
Cust. Cmon, please. what do you charge?
Me: 250K per suit.
Cust: well, can you make this for 100K since it isn't very good armor?
Me: Why would I do a custom order for less than my normal price?
Cust: Well, this isn't very good armor since the protection is low.

Man...this thread reinforces my belief that people are STUPID.
Here's one from earlier today. I was sitting in my camp outside of coronet when a woman walks into the camp and starts playing music. I don't do anything because i like the extra people for the exp. She is wearing a comp breastplate, biceps, bracers and gloves.
After 5 mins of her being in the camp the following conversation occurs.
Woman> Hey, can i have free armour now.
Me> LOL. Why would I give you armour?
Woman> Cause I'm a newbie and i REALLY need comp.
Me> ...
Woman> Whats is your cheap REALLY good armour?
Me> My ubese sells for 100k, that's the cheapest. And my comp goes for 300-350k.
Woman> Oh, I only have 4k, what can you make for that?
<At this point i check her badges, she has 1 badge, a legitimate newbie.>
Me> I cna make you some mabari for 4k.
Woman> Ok
<I get to crafting a mabari suit>
Me> All done....not too bad either, it came out with 22% base on it.
Woman> ...
<She has logged out>
<6 hours later>
Woman> Where's my armour?
<By this point i've already put it on the global bazaar for like 2k a piece>
...I get constantly asked for free/cheap armour because people are newbies....here's some free advice. SUCK IT UP! I playedn 33% kinetic chitin for 3 months before i could make myself a decent ubese suit (55% kinetic), and 2 more months before i got my 80% kinetic comp! Just because you just started does NOT entitle you to a suit of free 300k armour!

in my last crafting prof as a weaponsmith from aug-dec it was insane how many of these tells i would get when i loged on even iwth my silly long name <----- look at forum name
However now my jedi is my armorsmith and i use a Company name not his name for advertising so the vast majority of tells i get aside from people i chat with are wanting a peice of RIS made.

u guys ever spam ur shop in like a starport and have ppl send u tells asking to buy any suits that u have on your person. and then u say "no they are all at the shop" and they respond with "ill pay extra"....
after being AS for a year now i have had every possible situation happen to me...and it never stops...o well hehe

I had a guy come into my shop spamming about slicing.
Guy: "Master Smuggler Slicing, PST" ----- He was yelling this with no Master title and it was about 45 min before restart
Me: "No thanks"
Guy: "Master Smuggler Slicing, PST"
Me: "Why are you spamming in my shop"
Guy: "Master Smuggler Slicing, PST"
Me: /addignore, and banned him from the shop.
He stood outside the door for about 5 min andfinally gave up trying to get in and left. What is wrong with people??
