PSGs are awesome. Fragil, but awesome. I get my Mk IIIs up to 39% on energy if that is all I focus on.

They are incredible tools for raids and duels.

Yes, they are fragil, but that is how the Dev's want them, stated last night. And after playing with them, its a damned good thing they are that fragil, or people wouldn't bother with armor.

One of the key things as I see it. Armour/shields wear down more when damage gets past them. The mk1's I am selling are 20% against energy and 5% against everything else. This means that if you wear said shield during a melee fight it will protect you against a tiny amount of damage but the shield willl suffer HUGE amounts of damage. Dont wear your shield against foes that can by pass it!!

Exactly!

Combine a good suit of padded or tantel in a energy weapon duel. Put on a good mk.3 shield on top of all that, and be amazed as they do virtually zero damage to you.

They don't last that long, but that just means you need to repair them or keep several available.

PSG's are Armor Rating 1, so not even counting the %'s they are going to block 50% of anything thats not a vunerability.

I know how they work, but with the given and asumming nothing is a vunerability then the PSG's are going to absorb damage equil to there condition plus about 10%

Its like a buff, temporary and situational. Like Spices, Food and Doctor stuff.

its ok, I still feel bad, because while they may "last all of three fights" you can't charge disposable prices, they take too muchwork to be a cheap disposable item

i know there are alot more important issues right now but in the future i would liike to see a blue orb around sheild users. maybe we could get a color choises when crafting them. i just think that would be sweet.

I'm all for that ... first off, it let's the other person understand why his weapon isn't do as much damage. Second, it makes the PSG a cooler "toy." And finally, its free advertisement for PSGs. "Oooh, what was that, where did you get it, who made it?"

LOL!

I had an Imperial PSG equipped when I went to the Deathwatch Bunker, and it had the same condition coming out as it went it. Yes, it was equipped, I checked. It didn't seem to make a difference in there. Do these things only work in pvp?

They're still pretty bugged.. Unequip then Re-equip and it should work.
