Thread: How much is this worth?
I know price is server dependant, but I'd like toget an idea of the price I should expect for this.
I have an 87% effectiveness (made with krayt)composite chestplate (with a resist slice needless to say) with 231-60-25 HAM.
I'm selling it as part of a full suit, with 54% effectiveness 62% electrical on all the other pieces (all unsliced)
I'm not getting offers even near what I personally value the plate at. So I thought I'd throw this question out there. How much would other armorsmiths offer this deal for? Also for reference, post stats and prices on your standard full suits. So I can get an idea of the markup others would impose.
I don't know if that's expensive. But I would price that for close to 100k.
My non-layer Adv. Composite full suit (unsliced) with rougly 50% effectiveness and pretty decent HAM - goes around 200k.
Chest plate - 34k
Helmet and Pants - 30-32k
The rest 24k
my gloves has low 30s HAM.

hrm, The thing is, this isn't triple layered armor, this has LOWER hams then even normal 50% composite, and 87% resists to everything but stun. I paid a lot more then 100k just for the krayt segments to make it. The segments I made it from are a rarer drop then almost any krayt tissues used in weapons. People happily dump 2 million on a high krayt weapon. Yet they value something that could stop87% of the damage that ahigh krayt weaponproduces at only 100k.
Maybe I'm trying to find a market for super high resist armor where there simply isn't a market for one. The only other answer is that the general game populace is so uneducated in the workings of armorthat they donot realize the value of this piece.
To be honest the effectiveness slice severely restricts it's value on my server. Most people need their full suit of comp to be sliced for HAM (or at least the 3 core pieces). It will be worth a lot if it had recieved an encomberance slice, it would have been worth a lot if it was unsliced, but you are basically selling a lottery ticket that has already been scratched off and is not a winner.
Yes the 85% resist is tempting for some people, but not as many educated buyers want the super high HAM (at least on my server).
Triple Layered Advanced Composite Suits with 69% resists sell for 1.2million credits on Lowca.
Come on now, people. These Commandos are doing 40k missions with ease. Let's make them pay for the high-end product. It's the best we can do without loot drops.

i do 59 or 60% triple layerd suits with chest ham at 244 for 350-400k a set. electric is 78-79. unsliced. I dont know what that would go for.. but i'd bet you could get 500k or so for it. its decent ham if the person wants a suit to wear while buffed. it's always better to sell unsliced, because a) you sell more b) people get bad slices and come back for more armor and c) you dont get the wrong slice or bad slices.. the customer does. A perfectly sliced set will sell for more, yea, but you lose a lot of $ in the poor slices... just a thought
Good god, why don't I play on eclipse. Radiant 3x layered composite suits run from 200k-250k.
I just looted a Carbine armor attachment
+5 carbine accuracy while moving
Trying to decide whether to keep it or sell it. What do you think its worth?
I was just going to say...
... somewhere around 100-200k -and depending on your server, up to 300k. I recently saw a +9 one like this go for a little over a half million.
Ill give you 30k a piece (so 210k total)or a set of my 80%kinetic 67%elec 60%rest comp
