Just curious Farpetrad, but what makes them worth that much? I can't see what could could put them in that could make the credits back

Absolutely. Rancor Hides are amazingly effective at boosting Composite, particularly if you combine it with heat layers. (Does anyone really care if cold is locked in as a special resist and non-slicable?)
The lower-level rancor hides (3% base effectivess, with 7% each on heat and cold) are also really nice for use in energy-layered Ubese. You'll get what amounts to a mini-composite with much lower encumbrances. Great for folks who run factional missions a lot, and it will even hold its own in some forms of PvP.

LOL...you know, it doesn't really bother me that ppl post price checks in this forum, but you'd THINK that ppl would at LEAST browse through the forums a bit to see if something similar has already been posted
