Thread: Mandalorian Helmet Palette With Droid Customization Mods

Well been waiting a couple weeks now for them to fix the health enhancers, which they finally did, so I went about crafting my Mandalorian Helmet today. I was aware of the color palette problem, so I purchased skill tapes totalling an additional +25 in droid customization mods, which control the number of colors you get. I ended up with a total of 50 colors to choose from, as opposed to the normal 40. The 10 new colors weren't anything special, but I guess every little bit helps. Anyways, thought you all would like to know that for future reference. Below are screen caps of the palettes.

what did you use for layers?

4 primus layers. they give you best overall bang for the buck imo.

Interesting, people have said before that customization is capped at master Droid Engineer and now you have proven that extra tapes = extra colors, I wonder if this could be done with say +50 or +100 to customization for an even better choice of colors?

pretty sure all clothing mods still cap +25, so adding more than that probably wouldn't help. couldn't hurt to try i guess if anyone gets a chance.

im having a real problem finding CAs for droid customization...where would be the best place to look for them? other that galaxy trade ofcourse...

they do not.....DE made items have 40 colors....50 if you have +25 DE customization....AS made items have full 255 color palette

i just used the vendor search on the bazaar to find mine, took forever, but i found em.
