im having a real problem finding CAs for droid customization...where would be the best place to look for them? other that galaxy trade ofcourse...
i just used the vendor search on the bazaar to find mine, took forever, but i found em.
Yeah, but I thoughtthat combo got you the whole palette....actually, I think it does as the full set on that one server has red in the helmet, whereas the above links don't have red...unless it was pre CU...

i crafted the helmet in the original post. i am a master armorsmith/master droid engineer with +25 in droid customization mods. as you can see by the palette i posted, you only get 50 colors. you do not get a full palette like you do with armor. as far as the red helmet goes, it's possible it is from pre-cu and hasn't been remade yet. when you made a piece of mandalorian pre-cu, you got a randomly colored piece of armor after you crafted it in the bunker. the other possibility is that a CSR colored it for them. i have been told they will do this for you, but only if you have a full suit. might be able to get them to do it without a full suit, probably just depends how much of aass your server's CSR is.

This needs to be fixed ASAP !!!!
I was going to go and make my Maroon/Black Mandalorian Helmet this weekend, guess that is out of the question.
All pieces need to have the full 255 color pallet. I never understood why anyone but a Master Armorsmith crafted this armor in the first place. With the schematic now post CU seems like it would be pretty easy to just change the cert on the schematics to be all Master Armorsmith. DE and Tailor can still be required to go down in the DWB to make the Schematics, but when they recieve the schematic it will be certified to Master Armorsmith.
That seems like the quickest and easiest solution to me.

I think they should do this, too. I know DEs haven't gotten a lot of love lately, but lets face it, they don't really need to be the ones doing the final assembly of Mandalorian armor. Its a single line of experimentation, meaning there's no creativity involved, and truth be told, the resourses they use don't even really matter since there's nearly a 100% chance that the final piece of armor is going ot have an ADK put on it. Give all the Mandalorian schems back to Armorsmith, and to make it up to DEs and Tailors, give DEs a looted schem in the DWB for the Blastromech droid that was originally supposed to be there, and give Tailors a limited use schem for one of the numerous pieces of clothing that currently can't be crafted in the game.

only problem guys is that as thunderheart said (or maybe it was tiggs) that what seems to be an easy solution is not always easy to do being teh complex coding involved and im quite sure that mando crafting is not very high on their "list of broken stuff" infact im betting is on the bottom directly below "give the DEs some love"

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks bro!

does anyone have a screenshot of a twi-lek wearing the mandalorian helmet? I just saw a mon-cal and it's weird how they strecthed the helmet to fit his head. i like how they did the clone armor and just made it look the same regardless of species.
well, thanks in advance.

I just dropped a bug list on the Corr forum this morning before class. We'll see what's said.

So with the tapes, you only get the extra colors on mando, or do you get more color choices on all types of armor?
