I would check for extendo warranty stuff for that caile.
I know there were some serious flaws in manufacturing between 97-03. you might be able to get it fixed for free :-)

I would say due to some computerized sensor or mechanism its going to run with labor around 250+....Starters for my classic car run me 75 bucks amercian.

paid $400 for mine but it was for a 01 psd F-350... bosh.. really nice one..
you could be looking at $100-$300 with trade, brand. and installing yourself.

save a bunch of money and invest in a long screw driver. then impress your friends when you go out and have to jump the 2 terminals on the solenoid to get your p/t moving again.

Caile, you should check with the Artisans...they build the vehicles right? Anyway, I had to drop Master Artisan to pick up some Merchant skills, so your guess is as good as mine

I worked for a company once when I was much younger that had an old Chevy Astro van for deliveries. The starter was starting to go on it. If it didn't crank, you slid under the van on the passenger side and whacked the starter twice with ball pein hammer. Then it would start. Did that for quite a while.
