Just don't replace the starter. Then you won't need the new brakes.

not to rain on ya parade even more, but generally if you needed a new batter and a new starter, its not gonna be long before its time for a new alternator.

lol hell yeah mate, a friend own an accura integra, or she used to till she got t'boned, anyway not the story at hand. they wanted 400 dollars in labor to change the starter, and damn I almost, I say almost aggreed with them. I live and die by chevy, two bolts' a 9/16 socket and less then 10 minutes i can change my starter. well In the end they are all the same Two bolts, 1 big pos, 1 small pos, 1-2 misc neg's and life goes on, and you get vroom vroom instead of wheeeer wweeerrr.
