You, sir have no clue about armor. You obviously craft Ubese/Composite and Wookie only and have never even tried or attempted to make any other armor. Tantel CAN have a layer. Before you go calling "bs" maybetry learning about armor instead of flaming since you have no clue yourself about armor.

I HAVE made tantal it has just been so long.
I DO make other armors than composite/ubese wookie. Just played around and was pushing 60% kinetic with chitlin and just made a 62% base padded chest, and was hoping to get close to 70% base padded.
O yea, those interwoven RIS pants I made the other day are kinda cool too.
Alas, I was thinking thatmost of the regular segmentsdon't takeenhancements. As tantal doesnt have a advanced shematic I forgot that it was able to take a layer.
I guess I dont know much about armor though. Community Elder has nothing to do with ones knowledge of armor. I might not be a tantal expert, I was wrong, and I think the flames were a little unneccesary. You don't know me, you dont know my armor. Ask some people on valcyn if I know anything about armor.

The whole problem is YOU started flaming by saying "BS," if you don't know or are unsure, you don't post, that alone would of never sent "flames" your way.
As for my comment, it was not uncalled for, a lot of smiths pick up smithing to make Ubese and Composite because they are the money makers, I have no clue when you picked it but, but by showing ignorance in you initial reply, I assumed thats all you have ever made, as it seems a few others would have/had assumed as well.
You can't flame someone and then get mad that people are flaming you, you defended your statement said, "I was wrong." and we accept that.
Not sure about Doonium,but I'm absolutelypositive there isn't a good stick of wood in the entire Universe!

I think only 3 regular sements will even take a layer. Composite, RIS and tantal. So I forgot, It had been a while since I made some.
How many RIS pieces have you made Gaffer? Have you even done the quest? Does knowing the exact requirements for a tantal peice make you the new armor guru?
wow, you are so smart, I think I will come to you with all my questions when I make my next set of armor. You must be the best seeing that you have such a wealth of knowledge about tantal layers.
