I have searched every forum I could think of but has found nothing to help me in my search for an answer. I think I know the answer but you never know unless you ask, right? Will Crafting theForce Sensitive Crafting line be of any use to a Master Tailor. ..at least to be worth the effort?

When I tested being a jedi on TC2, there weren't any force crafting things that were of particular interest. It might cut down on crits or give extra experimentation points (ooo wookiee pillows). So.. I don't know for certain, but I don't think force crafting will be particularly useful to the tailor. I honestly, though, get the impression that most members of this community do NOT want to be forced to go down the jedi path just to stay competative in the market. Therefore, the lack of "tailor perks" may well be good for the profession.

Sure it will. There are 4 trees in it. The experiment tree gives +4 to that skill allowing an extra experiment point if you achieve +10 or +20 in that skill, and is only going to help with wookiepillow construction. The Technique skill is also part of the experimentation of items, but with theattempt itself, to allow for better chance of amazing successes.

Neither of those are going to greatly affect your skill as a tailor, but there is an assembly and repair branch that will alow better repairs, and less chance of critical failures when making clothes.

The experimentation tree used to give more experimentation points, but I think that's since been changed. You no longer get extra points, but I think you do have a greater chance of getting amazing successes when you experiment.

In theory it now works like being drunk on port 24/7. I still have yet to figure out why the devs think booze enhances concentration and mental faculties. Have they never been drunk?

Most of the universe's problems can be solved by the application of a brick to the side of the right head.
The problem is if you don't have a big enough brick or can't find the right head. The devil is in the details.

Drunk vs too many drops of acid.........

I can see why the drunk looks mentally clear to them!

I don't know what you all are talking about... whenever I drink I get smarter, funnier and more charming... I think the whole brandy/port thing really is a reflection of RL for a lot of people

think of it this way, you get +20 to experimentation. right now if you have +125 and are in a research center you would be:

125 x 25% = 156.25 (and yes, the system plays with ALL KINDS of decimals)

with force crafting experimentation line you would be:

145 x 25% = 181.25

hehe, now you can add Bespin as well and get some really nice results

i also recommend getting the assembly. that way you get the huge bonus for experimentation and also have the bonus for assembly as though you are in a mfg center. the long and short is, if you have 12pts, this is a very beneficial line. if you are only 10pts, it is a necessity and a godsend from the devs. you will notice a HUGE difference in experimentation if you are only crafting with +100.

The thing is, it doesn't give you another +20 to experimentation, which is why we are quite pleased.

I thought they borked that so that the force sensitive crafting only gave assembly bonus and did not add to the overall exp points the crafter had. Did I miss something? Have they made it so you can become a 12 point through FS quests?
