I imagine there will be another major push once the "gamerz" who are busy being leet jedi on T2 get back to their real servers. That and if they do nerf all armor *except* Mandalorian, then I imagine there will be more people interested in it. We'll see I guess.

Well I was asked to go back tonight and a Dark Jedi Knight Is going to be guarding me this time so maybe interest is picking up again

I'm guessing interest will pick up a little after the combat rebalance, since Mandalorian (and RIS for that matter) will probably be the new top armor to get. However, even then, there areseveral big issues with Mandalorian that still need to be worked out...
- As far as I'm aware, there is no way to change the color for Mandalorian. All "crafted" piece come out looking identical.
- "Crafted" Mandalorian has no sockets, which makes it not very appealing for those who like to use SEAs.
The other big thing is that people HATE the superbattle droids. It would be somewhat ok if they had a chance to drop loot, but no one likes having their armor shot to pieces while fighting a 200k HAM MOB when there is absolutely ZERO chance of loot.

So i'm guessing the drive to make Mandolorian armor is dead huh? I haven't seen any new posts of pieces being made or even threads about attempting them. The Deathwatch guide from test has been unstickied in the shadow of the Jedi hallabaloo and the thread in the droid engineer thread seems to have been unstickied as well. So, is it a dead deal then?

Its not worth it in my opinion...you need a really good group in there and all you get is one piece of armor for 1 person...even thou there are weapons schematic loots and jetpack loots but those 1 use schematic just not too attracting!

Do u mean there are chances of getting different colors but u just cant change color or is all the armor gunna be blue/silver? that will suck if it is all blue/silver because i wanted the red kind that are in the pictures!

Yeah I know of no one in Starsider that is even attempting this. Right now the Death Watch Dungeon is a really bad joke. Who wants to go through that hell, kill your armor, and lose alot of credits so ONE PERSON might be able to get something.
Its neither worth the time nor is it worth the effort therefore I see no one doing this. Oh and while were at it, its not star wars at all.

Not necessarily doubting your group mates, but how do you know you're getting all the loot?

DWB being insanely hard is the biggest thing. To do ANYTHING in this bunker you need to be buffed. The droid to turn the ventalation on in the mines is a joke. A group I was with must have tried 4 times before giving up. Thats 12 SBDs and 8 BDs later in the same room. You need to loot a rebreather yourself if you can't get that droid to work.
Just getting to the crafting rooms can take a 15+ person group 1.5-2 hours. The best group I was with got to the mines in a little more than an hour. The mines are a little easier than the start.
Of the 5 or so expeditions I've gone on I have probably spent about 1.2-1.5 million on armor and weapons. I have yet to get any loot from there, because 75% of the mobs in the place drop no loot and the rest might drop one thing in 2 hours. Its like trying to get vibromotors off of Lok but against 100k+ 90% AR3 mobs instead of AR0 10k mobs.
To get a full suit for everyone in a group would take 100+ attempts and everyone must be successful. How many DE's and AS's do you know with probably no combat skills that would want to just sit there and tag along for a few hours with the possibility of one chance to craft 1 piece of armor?
I don't care if the mandalorian armor and jetpacks are extremely hard to get. I completely accept that, but right now the odds of getting ANY loot from that place is next to nothing. The 2 schematics I know of is the pistol and a swordsman weapon. Both are horrible jokes on the devs part.
EVERY SBD should drop at least something. These are the hardest thing in the game and they drop NOTHING.
