maknar i went in there 3 days after release with 35ppl i hired we got some loot but didn't get that far first time in, learned from some of the mistakes now we are prepared already have 4 access keys. System messages tell loot drops and i can say everyone who got loot handed it over to me at teh end of the run, got 4 schematics and 2 barrels. No one tried ripping me off, and i expect the 2nd run to be just the same.

I agree armor is way to strong. Those Super Battle Droids are just way to easy, with my 80% composite I could tank them all day. I also agree skill tapes are worthless and aren't valuable too, like, I sold a +25 armor experimentation tape and I only got 70million for it, whats up with that? I also had a +21 Rifle Speed tape, only got 40 million for that. What a waste, should have just destroyed them.

Even if they made RIS medium armor with 90% resists, I still don't think too many people would wear it in combat. It easily costs 6 million per piece. A person could get 20 suits of really good composite for what 1 piece of RIS costs. Just too expensive to wear.

-Wookies would be stronger, making them par with the other species
-RIS armor would actually have a use
-Combat would have more strategy and skill-enhancing tapes would become more valuable
-Poor players could actually survive
-Standing in line for buffs would no longer be a equirment
Ofcoarse, no one wants this because combatants could no longer solo giant, tough creatures, doctors could not sell as many buffs, mastering a combat profession could no longer be done in 2 days, and armorsmiths would be in less demand. Remember, 90% protection is twice as good as 80%. This is how the game was originaly intended, so what is the best option?

andy not sure if it's broken from reading the log it seems like they were two slow, the devs mentioned the possibility of stuffing up the craft, and thats what i'm guessing has happened, since a helm was made on TC wihtout issues
"The manufacturing process halted due to slow input from the end user" at that point i'm guessing the failure occured. Anyway for thsoe that said mando/ris suck yes they do at the moment but come the armour revamp we will no longer be seeing 90%base suits of composite this will be the realm of Mando & RIS.

look on shadowfire a good friend of mine has the helm now, i dont know if tis the first made on a lives server but either way its awesome.
He has done it 2 times, first it screwd up second it worked, he said there was no way to pick a color so i guess its all red? or at least thats the helm color.

It *may* be broken. It seems like some have been able to craft it, while in other instances, the process fails for no valid reason. As mentioned above, refer to JustG's post.

Armour is way overpowered, but the worst part about it all is the devs overcompisated and uppped the difficulty of all the creatures.
Being a novice armoursmith it is SO annoygin having to grind tiny payout missions knowing I will die against rock beetles and I'm not exactly a n00b fighter. My last hunt I cam across a nest of kreatles and almost died -this is not good for a master brawler/novice pikeman.
I am praying for the combat rebance nerf goes the armour, nerf goes the overpowered creatures. Mandaloren just isn't worth the effort if the likes of me can craft better in their shed.
Mandaloren shoudl be a cut above the other and maybe ithe interest in the nearly impossible hunt might be re-awakened, I can see myself on the hunt in a while ready to craft this item for my guild.

The only thing turning me off about the armour is that the color scheme is random. I was hoping we'd get to choose the color of: 1. The Metal. 2.The Cloth that the armour is attached to. 3.The area around the black Visor on the helm.

we have tired 5 times, no luck its a hard ass quest, and as well it should be, to me the loot rate and dificutly is perfect.. this should be the hardest thing to do in the game. I do not wanna see mand like i do comp now, its just sick
