The devs at it again. Remember when they were going to make the vendor fee based on how much the items were listed for? Remember all the stupid ideas they had that were shot down by the community? Well this is another idea that needs to be shot down. I guess their servers are too weak and need some help by removing items from vendors. These numbers are very stupid and it seems like they gave no thought of what people actually sell on vendors.
I am an armorsmith and have 1 vendor. Everyone knows 1 composite suit consist of 9 items. Everyone knows a Ubese suit consist of 7 items. Everyone knows a wookie suit consist of 4 items. Now I would like the devs to enlighten me on how I can actually sell items on a vendor that holds 50 max. To put those three suits on my vendor would take 20 spaces. My usual run of composite is 14 suits. I put half on the vendor and try to put some in bags for people who want to buy a whole suit at a time. Can the devs explain to me how I can stay in business by using a vendor that has 50 max items? My template is Master Armorsmith, Master Doc, and business 3. I need master doc to buff my jedi and I need master armorsmith to make money to buy crystals for my jedi. Its a shame a jedi must have millions of credits to have a decent saber. But this vendor change will put me out of business.
I am totally against this vendor max item idea. There is nothing wrong with how it is now. If your servers are lagging because of it you need to upgrade them. I cant sell a few suits of armor at a time. People buy different parts and there wont be enough room to put all the items up. And to anyone who says master merchant... Forget it. There is no reason you should have to master merchant to sell items in this game. If you have the ability for a vendor you should be able to use it. If you want 6 different locations or vendor types then fine master merchant. If I have one store and 1 vendor type I should be fine with business 3. Dont force me to master merchant in order to be successful at my crafting profession.
This change and the removal of recursive macros really has me ready to sell my account on ebay. These changes the devs are spitting out at us suck. Look at the FRS for jedi. That is about as stupid as it gets. Let me see I need 500k xp to be rank 10. I get about 100 xp when I kill an overt. Yeah thats going to happen. It will be a cold day in hell when you see anyone above rank 4 in FRS. And thats if they play non stop. Rank 2 is about the most any normal player would be able to maintain. Ok getting off the subject of vendors. I just get pissed about all the hair brain ideas the devs are doing. Recursive macro will eliminate all my NON LOOPING MACROS!!! Hmm no longer can press 1 key to consume 5 food/drinks activate force resist and change cloths.
Ok I'm done. I really hope this vendor change doesnt happen.

660 items eh?
Well, checking my vendor quickly, I see 72 suits. 9 armor pieces + 1 pack, each is 720 items. This is just the packed suits, not the single pieces of which there are probably 100-200 more. And it doesn't even take into consideration my sliced armor vendor with an additional 300-500 items on it. Well, that's good, I'd only need 2 extra accounts to also master merchant to be able to keep my current stock available.
Think I could master merchant twice with one account to get 1320 items?

Im also master artisan and architect so my stock is running into the thousands on the vendors as im a pure crafter not a loot vendor or resource vendor or a empty vendor now everything non profitable will go.This wont increase number of crafters as everyone who wants to craft is already crafting.Larger storage would have been nicer and size of resources increased to reduce qty carried rather than this

*considers her 6k items she has across 6 vendors as a master merchant/master tailor/armorsmith*
Yep, I'd quit. I also picked up armorsmith on her, so she could add fashionarmor on top of all the clothing. I picked up a second account, so I could get 6 more vendors to sort it all out into. Even with 12 vendors ( 2 master merchants) , I can't live within this limit.

for the record. if this vendor-space limitation goes effective I quite and that will be 3 accounts gone as well as 2 others i know who are of the same opinion.may not sound like much but thats gonna add up super-fast.World of Warcraft is not far away. This is the time for descisions. Don't make a blunder like this now. Just friendly advice. We are the crafters. WE MAKE THE GAME GO.

Oh crap,
I had about 2k composite and ubese sold in parts in 2 vendors, well it's a friend's vendor,
but how in the hell am I supposed to store it now? put back up 7 factories? even that is not enough.
I made a huge run of armormsith making around 300 suits. and ALL are out of the crates.
But I hope he sold half of it.
Hmm, maybe ask him to lower the price to sell it?

Not cool. We will be limited to only several suits per vender with this, really not cool. The disappearing empty venders is fine, but the item limit is way to low.

Of all the stupid changes that have been proposed (and there have been plenty), this is the stupidest! It is difficult enough to find a stocked vendor to begin with (I was just at section 8's mall on BF and most vendors are empty). Now they are going to make it more difficult for those who actually DO stock their vendors to keep them stocked?!?!
Major raspberry to SoE. Try fixing combat balance or doing something to actually IMPROVE the game instead of nerfing things that benefit players. BOOOOOOOO!!!!
