Thread: pre-nerf ubese shirts useless?
I have just been checking through my schematics and old stock and have the following changes to Ubese after publish 10. Some know about this already, but I am trying to clear things up.
- All Ubese Shirts and Bandoleers are now classed as clothing not misc. armor, and thus only take CA’s (not AA’s)
- Any Ubese Shirts and Bandoleers crafted now have got 1000 condition, and behave just like clothing.
- Any Ubese Shirts and Bandoleers crafted before Pub. 10 have no condition, but show up as broken (red highlight) so if ever the devs feel the need to ‘fix’ clothing items so broken items are non wearable, all your old attachments will stop working.
- Mabari Armorweve belts are still classed as armor, so still take AA’s as they always did. No condition shown in pre pub 10 crafted or ones crafted now. These are now the only non decaying items you can use AA’s with.

Thanks for the summary. I'm going to make sure this gets sent along to the devs. I'd like to find out if this change was intentional or unintentional.
is this intentional? I mean come on can't they give us some kind of warning I am screwed now, thx alot devs.
I swear to god they are trying to make people quit.

Are the Dev's going to give me back the millions I just paid for an AA I can't put onto my shirt or bandolier. I bought the shirt and the bandolier as ARMOR not clothing. These are the only 2 items I put my AA's onto.

Sounds like that's your own problem and not the Devs. If you're unwilling to put AAs' into ARMOR (imagine that!) then you have no one to blame but yourself for not using those attachments.
Things change in MMORPGs, if you can't handle that, move on to a different type of game, this type of game isn't for you.
AA price was based on the fact you could put these AA's onto bandoliers and Ubese shirts. CA's are the cheaper version. Now the AA's are basically going to drop in price, and some be completely worthless. I have CA's on clothes, so smart guy I must now remove my clothes to wear the armor, and that's MY problem. I'm sorry I built my character and have been the same 2 professions from the beginning. I collected my credits and built the character and equipment to fit it. So either way you slice it, I have to put Millions of credits on the shelf because the Dev's decided to change the game.
Let me know when you buy the 20 Million dollar gun and find out the Dev's decided to turn it into a survival knife.
BTW, if these are considered clothing now, why are armorsmiths still making them.
