Last nite I killed a Singing Mountain clan Rancor.

It dropped 5 Rancor Padded armor segments (all same serial #)

Base Effectiveness: 5%

Integrity: 3250

Action Encumbrance: 11

Mind Encumbrance: 15

Heat Effectiveness: 22%

Cold Effectiveness: 20%

I asked a few armorsmiths trying to get a feel about what these are worth and got the same reply,... no clue.

So I'm taking a wild shot and asking here.

To get a feel for prices on the Ahazi server, Composite (the good stuff they are making now) sells for 20-25K for the major pieces and 10-20K for the minor pieces.

Any help would be appreciated.

The base effectiveness is really low. I can make adv padded at 9% at the lowest.

Yeah, but the heat/cold is nice, especially since padded is usually vulnerable to heat (I just got pwned by a guy with an FWG earlier today).

I looted four of these off a rancor the other day, what are these worth ?

Stats on all four segments are the same

Base Effectiveness 20%

Integrity 3600

Action Encumbrance 12

Mind Encumbrance 15

Heat Effectiveness 18%

Cold Effectiveness 17%

The problem is, last time I checked, they were bugged. I have around 50 of these I've collected and am sitting on, waiting for a fix. They SAY padded, but right now they only work in bone. Of course, I haven't tried after this lastest patch, but I think they'd have put it in the patch notes.

Last time I checked, they were worthless as far as being a padded armor segment. Matching serial numbers or not, the crafting tool did not recognize them as named when it came time to craft a padded armor piece.

lol i looted 10 rancor hide segments too

These are currently bugged, the other part you get off them is not bugged( I think called Rancor Scales or something along those lines)

Hi, sorry if this has been covered etc, Im not an armorsmith myself, but I just got 17 of these segments and gave them to an armorsmith, and they cannot be used, anyone know if they have been nerfed or something else needs to be done

Basically ... they're broken.

They only work in bone armor schematics at the moment for some reason.

i just picked up about 6 padded armor segments from a rancor, i was wondering how much they would be worth/how well the padded would turn out? I think the base effectiveness was around 29%.

Sorry to tell you this, but they are bugged. They wont go into Padded. Oddly enough they will go into Bone. So they arn't worth much To a engineer they might be worth 500-1000 since they do make Bone armor that would be worth the 3k bazaar cap. So they might be interested . Try posting a WTS Rancor segments on the artisan forum and see what kind of feed back you get.

Personally, when I get some of these from my guildmates or other friends, I turn them in to Bone armor and put em up for 5k each piece. They sell ok, so I generally offer 1k/ea for the segments.
