I asked around and some ppl say that you only have full coverage with those parts when doing PVP and others say you also have full coverage with PVE.

So I tested this and after a few hundred hits nothing got through so i thought i also works for PVE.

So after that I went on the corvette but suddenly i got killed and after checking my combat log I saw that someone did a special for 1500 damage and my armor prevented nothing.

So does it work for PVE or not?

If yes then what happened here? A new armor hole bug?

Its not trick

, its ability maked for Tantel suit .... Working in PvP and PvE. But condition of gloves go down realy fast

In my experience, it doesnt work in PVE

You have to be carefull what clothing you wear along with the 4 peices of armor. I was wearing a 2 tone skirt before and it opened up my legs to leg hits. Swtiched to camo pants and no problems.

My buddy and I were killing nightsisters like crazy using 4 peice suits with no armor holes. Only times we had trouble were when they whipped out stun batons (doh!).

All the cool people are using 4-piece minisuits.

Seriously, though, it works just fine for me in all sorts of PvE right now. For the past month or so, I've been using effectiveness-sliced cold-layered composite against Nightsisters with my swordsman, and I've had no instances of armor holes popping up.

However, it's been my experience that the condition will degrade much faster (particularly on the chestplate and boots) than if you were wearing a full 9-piece suit.

Last night make Master Swordsman in Geno cave using Mini suit and dont have any prob

yea i havent worn a full suit in a while...the only thing i can think of where it might help is the corvette...but tehn again that could be just cuz the SBD's hit hard...lol

Yes - the mini suit seems to work for me, no problems in the Geo caves, against night sisters, and and last Friday I was taking down GDK's.

Not one armor hole in a couple of months...

What's when you wear annother armor part together with this 4 needed pieces? Will it still work when i wear the pants too (i wouldn't go out without... hate to be instant-incapped by pikemen).

And when i wear only 4 pieces.. is the chance higher, that my enemys will hit the mind pool? I mean, normaly helmet is 1/9 parts, but now it will be 1/4 parts..

It seems that if a pikeman tried to hit your legs, the hit is diverted to the boots if no armor is present on the legs. Thus you should be still protected.

The original hit still tries to hit the normal locations, but for some reason if for example your legs are exposed, it will take the damage to the boots. This will mean that the boots take twice as much damage as normal. Same goes with arms and gloves. The head is not hit any more often, when using a 4 piece suit it becomes the least hit area but some margin

I dont know about all of you, but for general PvE, not dungeons, I dont bother wearing armor, just get a midgrade buff, 2000-2200, and take some mind food and regular creatures never come close to killing you...
