Shouldn't armorsmiths be able to wear all armor?I think once you become a Master Armorsmith you should receive the certifications to wear all the armors. We understand how is works because we design it and build it. We should be able to wear any of it withour penality. I don't care if we don't get the bonuses but I think that should be a benefit of being a Master Armorsmith. I think Master Weaponsmith should be able to equip all weapons as well.

In fact I think we should be able to equp it, but have to suffer the full de-buffs... Not being able to try on my armor will be a major problem as this is how I check the HAM etc at the mo....

I disagree. Should a WS be able to use all of the weapons? Just because we can make it doesn't mean we are fit/trained enough to wear it.

While he might not be able to use them he should (but will not as it currently stands) be able to equip said weapons. Same with armor. I got an order for 8 padded chestplates and some gloves today, all to be used as clothing not armor.

Listen to yourself.
ARMOR SHOULD NOT BE FOR FASHION. IT SHOULD BE FOR FUNCTION.
Police don't wear Kevlar vests to look "pretty".

It would be nice for armorsmiths to wear all armor, but it should provide no protection and bonuses unless you have the cert. I also think different species should be able to make modified armor, meaning a dosh AS should be able to make gloves and boots they can wear.

Plus, the point of the CU is to give all armor some function. None of our armor should be looked at as only for "fashion".

That's what I'm saying. You want to look pretty, go see a tailor. I make armor to make sure your a$$ isn't toast when a Krayt dragon tries to eat you. Not so you can look hawt doing that little dance in the cantina.
MY JOB IS NOT TO MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD!
What drives me nuts is the people who complain "The RIS palette is too limiting" "Can you match and blend these two colors?" Blah blah blah.
I'm an armorsmith. Not a fashion consultant.
