Blix says he will change it back to OQ+SR.
I'm just making basic cores atm but the resources need OQ+UT!!!!! I seriously hope this is an error.

That would be kind of a big error. Unless they get perverse joy out of torturing us.

Torture? Called totally screwed out of tens... hundreds of millions of resources.

Interesting... but it also depends on what type of resources we need for the various cores and layers. If the advanced cores call for something like hardened arveshium steel, it really doesn't matter if it's OQ/UT or OQ/SR... or heck... even DR/HR just to come up with something crazy. We would be just as screwed because I doubt there are many armorsmiths out there using something like that in their current armor.

I would bet that new resources will be needed. But that in combination with the UT requirement means that probably nothing we have will be usable.

That's just great... they take the one stat that we never cared about.....

I would be okay since i have a ton of Arch resources... which require UT (if anything)

While this is certainly a problem, it is not a disaster. Certain resources have naturally high UT like Kammris Iron, and Duralloy Steel. You could also say the same thing about certain other resources that a Smith would probably have in large amounts.
The requirement for UT is less of a concern when very specific resources are called for and UT is gated.
The greatest impact of the UT requirement may be on stockpiles of organics and chemicals.

Ya, but is your Yavin Hide for padded harvested for OQ+UT? Is your polysteel mined for OQ+UT? I'm not sure what I have in this, but also have old Arch resources and also a lot of SW resources that also work off OQ+UT.

Organics will suffer big time, all mine are OQ/SR.....
Also some of my other resources will be hit hard.... I sold most of my high OQ/SR kam iron when I got a very high OQ/SR JTL steel, but as this is ungated the UT is a little low.... Doh!

If that is all true, then just add it to the growing list of unneeded changes to 'balance' the game in the CURB. It is curious how they are using the 'overall good of the game' as a reason to kill off a lot of the veterans in various professions.
If that is corret (and I pray it isn't) I can't imagine what that would do to all of us. I have only ever been an Armorsmith so I doubt I have anything that would even rate as average based on different stats.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. Just going to have to wait and see what else comes out of TC over the next couple weeks.
