Thread: Having trouble selling R.I.S.?

Just made my first set and it seems like no one wants it, anyone else having trouble pushing this stuff?

As always, it's just a question of price...so it depends on how greedy you are

Here are some thoughts:
First off, what is the suit like? The first suit I sold post CU was +350 health (I know you can't do that now), primus-layered, and matched up with some pre CU socketed boots and gloves. It went for 16 million on Scylla. The guy didn't even blink though he tried later, with no luck, to auction the boots and gloves off separately.
I've sold four or five suits post CU. I used resource deeds for Naboo bristley, beyrllius copper, and Talusian fiberplast to shore up my weakest resources. I primus layered all my R.I.S. I price them at 8 million right now including boots but no gloves. Condition is 102k with stats of 6478 K/E.
Finally, what color did you make it? The dark blue and tan combo seems to fly off my vendor while a bright red and light grey suit just sits there. I made some for a couple guildies as a going-away present. Those guys' suits were dark blue/light blue and bright red/dark grey.
How do you advertise? Since I sell all my RIS in packs, I made an RIS chest plate that I price at 8675309 (Tommy Twotone anyone?) just so people can find it on the vendor search. In the description field, I list the suits I have available and their stats.

hmm my R.I.S vendor does quit well have a nice stock off 400+ Rris helmets and dozen + suits on all the time. I think keeping it well stocked is the key. welcome to take a look if you like its in backroom of my shop on wanderhome (beertopia next to cnet wp in sig)

12-15 mil a suit can hardly keep it stocked
2.5 - 3.5 a peice Hot cakes
All custom made

i have trouble selling RIS
making 5980 on all stats and +10000 condition for 5MIL
i do only custom order so people can choice there own color
should i put some parts on my vendor? couple of helmets, chests and legs?
what should i charge for each part? 500k?

You should quit selling it so damn cheap first off, I am on eclipse and sell for 9 mil easy, some people offer 2 mil per piece - I have probably sold 20-30 sets post CU. You are selling it for almost less than the loot sells on the forums.

personally i think the problem was the armorleayer u used.
from my experience customers usualy want unlayerd or primuslayered battlearmor
