Thread: Patch 20 and NO FIXES!

patch notes are now out...armorsmith is no where to be seen


theres a nice list of things we need a fix for in this patch, colours from crates, factories eating materials, health bonuses not working, BE slots not working, other new armor slots not working.....patch 20 is helping us how again....thanks developers, i hope you've fixed it just "forgot" to put it in the patch notes - to embarresed to say you messed it up to start with. how many times now have material names on vendors been fixed and broke again???

look I want it fixed as much as the next guy, but you can't say that your profession's bug is any more important or easier to fix than another or should get priority.


the devs said that they are doing a better balance of realocating team memebers to work on live and fixing current stuff rather than having so many people working on new content, what more do you want? it isn't about making YOU happy it is about making the game better, and they are trying


seriously, if they could fix it, they would have (see dev post about the BE enhancements not getting fixed)

If what I have been told is true, it's gunna get worse still....I'll keep my mouth shut until that is confirmed tho.

At least the layering display issues won't be just us anymore. Unless they've fixed it ALL professions and all schematics now won't update. Wee.

monkaiku: "seriously, if they could fix it, they would have" so, how hard is it for them to add a female sullistan picture. sure beleive what you want about them fixing things, try checking the issues on every forum. pages and pages, half the problem pre cu was their coding was so messed up that evey patch they did to fix one thing messed up another - loot, warping when driving, vendor display issues - how many times now?

The Dev's are either compulsive liars or just plain stupid. It's time you realised this.

Don't know about you guys but I for one hope that this one is true....


Misc



  • Player event actors will not speak their programmed text. This interim fix is due to abuse of the system and the event actor will be removed entirely in an upcoming change for this publish cycle.
  • Players will no longer have to kill NPC's twice when they die with a Flamethrower DoT on them
  • Resource containers for sale on vendors or on commodities terminals will retain the name of the resource and the quantity from their description.
  • Lairs HAM bars will now show properly

I for one was seriously sick and tired of the resource vendor bug and easilyincreased the time involved inmy resource searching on the bazaar by ohhhh around 500% longer. Pretty sure the vendor bug (not displaying details) has been fixed as I havent had to relist anything in over a week. Personally I'll take what I can get.


Now that is NOT to say that I don't want all the other bugs to get fixed.... because I do.... very much so. But like I said I'll take what I can get. Odds are once they do fix one of the problems (bio-eng mods, health bonuses, clothing/armor factorycolor bug etc) they all should be fixed in theory since all 4 of these are pretty much inter-related with each other.

The nice resource property averages that you can set your interface to show are no longer showing up in crafting until you use the resource and are not showing up at all whenyou open yourinventory.

can you verify that your boxes in options/interface were checked for the attributes you were wanting averaged? Cycled them all off his done then rechecked them by chance? Just trying to give ideas here since I cant try myself atm
