Ok. They kind of addressed some of the resource usage. cool. I'm starting to live with the fact they we have to start all over in the resource department.(But noquite) Still not happy with the way we experiment in post-CU. But Naboo Bristly hide? Come on. we need to be more realistic. Probably will be the most popular core and we need Naboo Bristly Hide. If there are more things to address that can be fixed, let this be one of them. I dont know know if the DEVS just picked this out of the blue and never gave it much thought, butin case u didnt know, its painful to harvest Naboo Bristly hide as it is the harvest avain meat on Tatooine.

Just in case u didnt know.

Repost of my comments from another thread:

Obviously, creature levels post-CURB are entirely subject to change, and harvesting levels and capabilities may also change before this hits live. That being said, I did a quick search over at SWGCreatures.com (great site) in order to compare the relative creature levels of critters that drop Dantooine Wooly, Nabooian Bristley, and Lokian Leathery.

Dantooine Wooly Hide

Dropped by: Huurtons and Thunes.

Most Huurtons are between CL 25 and CL 33. Missions for Huurton Stalkers (CL 33) are readily available with a small group. Thunes range in CL from 26-48, but missions for them are more difficult to find, and several thunes magically do not drop hide.

Nabooian Bristley Hide

Dropped by: Ikopis, Plains Hunters, Narglatches, Shaupauts, Tusk Cats, and Veermoks.

The critters with the highest CL for Nabooian Bristley, Plains Hunters (31) and Ikopi Stags (30) are random mobs without lairs. Narglatches range in level from 8 to 22. Shaupauts have a max CL of 22. Tusk cats are in the 16-18 CL range, and veermoks range from 9 to 22. We can safely say that getting a massive quantity of Nabooian Bristley Hide will be harder (and likely much more boring) than getting the same quantity of Dantooine Wooly Hide.

Lokian Leathery Hide

Dropped by: Just about everything on Lok -- Gurks, Gurnasets, Kimogilas, Mynocks, Perleks,Snorbals,Spined Snakes, andVesps.

Lok is a veritable sea of leathery hide. Missions for gurks and snorbals, around CL 30, are readily available. Kimogilas range in CL from 22-153. We can safely say that getting a massive quantity of Lokian Leathery Hide will be significantly easier (and potentially more lucrative) than getting the same quantity of Nabooian Bristley HIde, and slightly easier than Dantooine Wooly Hide.

So, in order of ease of acquisition, we have Lokian Leather > Dantooine Wooly > Nabooian Bristley.

If one was interested in changing Nabooian Bristley to something of approximately equal difficulty to that of Lokian Leather and Dantooine Wooly, I would suggest Tatooinian Bristley Hide (dragonets are CL 29, and Krayt Dragons drop bristley hide), or Yavin IV Scaley Hide (crystal snakes and klikniks are of appropriate level).

I wouldnd be surprised if they changed the Naboo Bristley to another. They originaly had wook hunting armor requiring correllia wooly and changed it to tat wooly when it hit live.

An equally acceptable solution would be to increase the CL and harvest numbers (and availability thereof) for certain Nabooian Bristley Hide creatures like narglatches and veermoks.

Also remember, this info is based off the current live servers.....

CL's will likely change after the CU, so we can't be sure the issues will stay the same.

ideas and comparisons like this are probably the most pro-active thing we can do to present to the devs for getitng things changed.

imo It would make more sense if they removed all hide requirements for cores and segments and throw em in the appearences. I know they wont do this though so maybe switch dant wooly to tat wooly? I dunno about the reset of the servers but on ours its always god aweful. The bristley hide req is weird too... maybe change it to dath or dant leathery?

I found a stack of 1.7kof Naboo bristley hide in one of my houses with OQ and SR both above 950. Don't know why I harvested it, but if that requirment stays the same for adv. battle cores I may have to use a 30k resource deed on some of it. If you are an AS on tarq shoot me an email and I'll send you the name of the hide.

Can any tell me how I can find good quality naboo bristly hide? I have tried everything I can get from the mission terminals, and I cant find anything with a good average of OQ and SR for armor crafting. I seem to only be getting one type of hide, and it isnt great... around 400 average. I can hunt it myself, or buy it from a Ranger (if i can find one on Starsider).

Any advice on finding this stuff, one way or another, would be appreciated.
