There is only one type of anyresource at a time. So what you have is what you're going to get for the next few days. You'll just have to wait for the season to change. It usually shifts every 2 to 3 weeks.

Mastering Ranger, and a combat profession used to take up 232 skill points, now with the CUthe pairtakes up 246 skill points. Without a merchant alt or friend you won't see much hide up on private vendors. That's the primary reason why they're rare. Merchant and surveying is included in the same artisan profession and you don't need to spend any additional skillpoints to survey at least a little.

Most of the hide and meat I pull goes to my guild for trade in armor, clothes, foodand an occasional weapon.

Sal, many Rangers work directly with artisans/weaponsmiths/armorsmiths under contract system. If you are looking for a specific resource I suggest you develop a network of Ranger friends and ask them to hunt it for you. Shifting resources are just one of those things to deal with. Sometimes it seems that all the hides on every planet are bad and other times uber stuff spawns all over the place.

Our guild on Shadowfire does a lot of contract hunting.

A good place to look also is on your servers trade forum. I used to check thier often for anything that was in good spawn. Then I'd consider if it was worth the cpu vs the time to hunt it.

BTW, what drops Naboo bristley? Narglatch? I cant remember.... Been a long time since I hunted there.
