Thread: Anyone else think Rebel Recon armor needs a make-over?

I'm not gonna even start on the tinman cone helmet, but it looks like you couldnt trust it to defend you from a group of ewok babies throwing empty coke cans at you.

i hate how the helmet doesn't even cover ur face at all.
oh and i hate how the leggings and chest make u look like ure wearing a 1 peice jumpsuit (richard simmons?)

Rebel Marine armor looks pretty good on MonCals and Sullustans. I agree the conehead helmet ain't exactly pretty on other species, but how many SWG helmets actually look good?
Personally, I think the Rebel Assault and Battle armors look totally out of place in Star Wars. The assault armor looks like a reject from HALO concept art, while the battle helmet looks nothing like what I'd expect the Rebellion to have.

Technically, those are the Alderaanian Security uniforms. Now as for why many of the Rebel NPCs wear them, that's totally beyond me.
I'd love for that outfit to be a Rebel armor, though, as well as the ROTJ helmet that used to be a reward from the Rebel Themepark.
