Have you read nothing of how it will be? There is no challenge unless you enjoy having 3x the resource demands.

LOL.
NEWSFLASH!!!
The cu is killing "Variety". At least be an AS when you are posting, you have no idea what you are talking about.

All armor will have the same stats post-CU, just different skins now.

the challenge before wasn't getting the same base as everyone else, the challenge was to get a lower encumbrance or a higher condition than everyone else. now, there will be no challenge as everyone will be making the same base stat armor and we cannot experiment on any other stats to set ourselves apart from other AS's.

Based on your forum date, you can not even blame your abject and total ignorance on being new.

CURB = armor crafting a drunk monkey could do

CURB = getting smoked going to your harvester

CURB = no fun crafting

CURB = b'bye

Pre-order cancelled.

You aren't the only one. The problem is, most smiths who feel as you do are essentially being tarred and feathered on the forums.

Zion, Does this mean you like the AS changes? Specifically do you like the 1 line of experimentation? (Yes I know there are 2 but honestly 99% of the players don't care about condition so lets leave that one out.)

What forum are you reading Zion?
I don't see any AS's getting tarred and feathered for wanting to bring variety and challenges to the AS profession. The curb is preventing variety and a challenge to our community.
I don't see how experimenting Hindrance is "game breaking" if they are mitigated away when you reach master. It would be cool if you lower the movement modifier, but then the accuracy suffers.

You're like the Tom Hanks "Mr.Short Term Memory" character from Saturday Night Live.

they may care now that armor will cost twice as much... so they would prefer armor that lasts longer

They will care about condition when it is the only other thing to consider when buying armor.

Lets see the players laugh when they are paying x5 the current price for suits with longer wait times...

I think the biggest challenge will be to get anyone to buy our armor since it is not needed for combat and probably hideously expensive for most people. Zion, how would you tackle that if you become the new Correspondent? I have yet to see you say anything negative about the CURB, but I know you are not blind, deaf and dumb...

True. I suspect once everyone gets to 5800-5900 armor (assuming 6k is the cap) that condition will be the only difference left. But that isn't what I was asking. I was asking Zion if he(she?) thinks the current form of experimenting on armor in the CU is a good idea or not.
