want to know what to do. Here it is:

Gruelokks guide to becoming Uber rich and l33t ,so your friends can and will be all jealous...

Master architect, even if its just temporary.

  1. get 4400 artisan by making survey tools to engineer 3 and then personal gens in practice mode to 4440 artisan.
  2. Make yourself the best harvs you can along the way.
  3. make 6, 4 ber minerals, and 4, 9 ber winds.
  4. Get those harvs rolling on ore and crystals.
  5. Run wind gens to power the harvs.
  6. Make statues, for exp. sell them on the bazzar for 5k each.
  7. When you get a nice stash of ore and crystals, if you need more cash sell some of it on the bazzar. Ore will sell well at 4 cpu, crystals 3 cpu.
  8. When you hit 0020 architect, you should be able to make medium minerals, make the best you can and contact a master architect to buy a crate of light ore mining units top quality. Take those and make yourself, some nice 6- 8 ber mediums. Slowly upgrade all of your minerals to these.
  9. Ditch your wind gennies, use your minerals one week on radioactive power, three weeks on minerals. This is how youll power your stuff for the rest of your days. When you notice theres nothing worth mining armor wise, switch to radioactive power. Idle harvs are a bad thing.
  10. Now go 4020 Architect. you can now make some great furniture. this is key if you can be creative you can make a lot of cash upwards of 20 - 30 cpu for outfitting people houses with quality themed furniture. Ie specialty names for thier plants, chests turn into beer coolers etc. Also youll stop crit failing so often at 4 furniture.
  11. Now your ready to master architect. Just keep making statues till your master, you can name the statues clever things too or just a space, some people like no name.
  12. Once you got plenty of cash and a full set of chem / mineral harvs and a few gas make yourself about 10 factories.
  13. server trade lots to hold your 10 factories. This is done by making a new charactor on a server and just offering to server trade lots with one of thier crafters. You place 10 lots worth of stuff on thier server in exchange for their 10 lots on yours.
  14. If you want you can now drop architect, you wont be needing it unless youve come to enjoy it and decide to go pure crafter.
  15. start stockpiling huge amts of syn cloth and armor weave segments.Gather huge amts of hides, you usually will have to buy these. I find that at 6 cpu i can pick up random hides, usually ill deal with a few people that hunt alot, or spam paying 6 cpu for hides in stacks of 1 k or more. youll need a crap load of hides to master armorsmith.
  16. Once you got about 50 k or more hides, plenty of syn cloth etc. Use the mabari chest plate macro found on this forum to knock out master armorsmith. Dont sell any armor till your 4104. Then you can make some more support cash selling Advanced kinetic layered ubese.
  17. Now grind out to master armorsmith. Once you hit master armorsmith youll still not be ready to make alot of cash but the ability is there. Start going through all your schematics and gathering the best stuff you can for your armor and stock pile it, also stock pile quality wooly and leathery hides.
  18. materials youll want to watch out for as you do all of this, if you see high quality stuff stop what your mining and stock pile these along the way.

  • HIGH OQ SR MAL are important. UT isnt bad to have high either.
  • polysteel copper
  • colat iron
  • nuetronium steel
  • crystalline gemstone
  • amorphous gemstone
  • kirrium steel
  • Intrusive ore
  • misc ultra high grade iron
  • misc ultra high grade steels, usually found as duralloy or carbonite.
  • good crism silicstatic ore
  • Wooly hides
  • leather hides
  • polymer
  • nabooian fiberplast
  • i think you also need yavinian wooly. tho i could be wrong.

These are things youll want to stockpile along your path. Other wise youll be miserable once you hit the top cause all of your wares will be not for the winz. And youll have to deal with price gouging hoarding merchants. Get master merchant its worth it imo. Or at least 3004.

Hope this helps.

I made this post for another thread, tho i think it just might help a new player that sees it, please post your comments here. Its for a help no flames please.

Thats just one of the ways. I sell resources and I make more money that I will ever need and it involves a lot less work.

thanks for your useless post, this was posted on the armorsmith forum so that it would help the aspiring armorsmith to make thier first 10 - 100 mil. And I dont much respect the price gouging hoarding merchants that mine stuff, hang onto it for a month, just to ensure that they can gouge peeps 3- 5 times what the resource is worth. Its not a respectable trade imo, its like a paycheck advance place. Just not something to be proud of.

Before you go trying to tear me a new **edit**, your the one with the useless post. Your telling Armorsmiths to go be architects to make money. Do you mean that someone who wants to be an armorsmith needs to be an Architect to make money? Go post that **edit** on the Architect forum then.

And I don't price gouge. I sell a standard 3cpu on the bazaar unless it crap grind QL. But you wouldn't know nothing about that, since your telling me to make money as an Armorsmith I need to be an Architect to and make statues no one cares about. Why grind a profession I don't want to make money? I sell my resources to fools like you who buy them. You got 18 steps to make money, I got 2; dig it up and sell it.

Maybe I should tell novice brawlers the best way to TKM is by using a pike. Sounds dumb? its the same backwards ass philosophy you are spitting out here.

Think twice before you open your mouth next time.

I have over 5 million credits in game. What do i spend it on? You guessed it....NOTHING!!! Money on most servers is worth nothing. There is too much of an abundance of it going around and too little to spend it on. My 5 million will probably last me till my dying day in game. Ohh yea, I make armor and sell it for very very cheap.

Now see that? Inoch has the picture. He isn't telling me to go be a Master Architect to make money. Then what happens when my money runs out and I already sold my Master Architect? I go grind it again?

Just keep a few hundred thousand on standby at any given time and you don't have to worry about money. Until we get ships or something to REALLY blow our money on, money isn't a problem if you got the timeand effort to make it.

It's a good guide overall, but I really don't see the need to master architect. I'd say just run BER4 personals until you can afford BER10 mediums and run with those. You'll make more money with less effort by spending some time finding quality resources in good concentrations. Frankly, if all you care about is money then you'd be better off to stay in the mining business. Picking up a craft is for those who actually enjoy it, a lesson learned rather painfully by some of my server's Jedi who thought a successful crafting operation would be a good way to subsidize their krayt pearls, crystals, and 90% comp.

By harvesting your own inorganics and keeping an eye on new organic spawns you can cut down the amount of money needed for a successful armorsmithing operation.

i dont agree with that SR is very important over UT...

maybe in ubese SR is important, because SR and OQ is for special protection..

while you have OQ + UT for base effectivness, which is important for composite and tantel armor....

I have managed to acquire some surplus cash. I sell some of the best armour on Kauri and came out ahead. With my surplus I went back into Combat. As a result of my efforts I am able to acquire serious weapons and tapes for the profession I am going into. I also have the benefit of the best armour and shields around.

IMHO, I am having a ball. I am not so fixated on making cash that I forget to have fun. And having people SPAM me because I spend lots of cash on quality resources and auctions is mildly amusing.

Money may be abundant, but so is the fun if you know how to spend

I get that all the time. A lot of people give up when I start to bid on auctions, or at least realize they are going to pay a lot.
