Its not about the money, its about making a name for yourself and being a reputable armorsmith...

I have lots of cash and i enjoy making it. You think bill gates is having fun with his 100 billion dollars? Or is he a slave to the machine hes created. Doubtful of the latter. I run my own city, my own guild, my own mall, and enjoy it. I went armorsmith so i could outfit tattoine, when i went to buy armor i came across none on my home planet... So after visiting the 4 armor vendors on the world map and finding zilch for armor, i decided hell i guess i should go armorsmith. I made alot cash already selling armor, resources, master artisan parts, resources, deeds, etc. I know for a fact tho that armor is where the money is because demand is so high. Its alot more complicated than architect, and thus more fun to me. I enjoy a challenge, something this game could use more of imo. This guide will make whomever follows it rich, plain and simple. Granted theres more ways than this to attain it. Hell you could go with the i have no template but an afk loot macro in the bat caves, but thats not very sporting. Take it for what its worth, and please stop with the thread bashing and hijacking.

Thats just one of the ways. I sell resources and I make more money that I will ever need and it involves a lot less work.

I took Armorsmith because I wanted to make armor. I was intrigued by its complexity. However... in the back of my head there was always little voice saying "you're gonna get rich dude!"

So here I sit today, I've worked my way up to Master Armorsmith and have spent the last two months stockpiling resources. This past weekend I began studying in earnest, making and destroying gloves to actually learn my craft. (I ground my way up - albeit slowly) Then I realized - the combined resources in my safety deposit box have a street value of around 10 million. I'm already rich!

thanks for your useless post, this was posted on the armorsmith forum so that it would help the aspiring armorsmith to make thier first 10 - 100 mil. And I dont much respect the price gouging hoarding merchants that mine stuff, hang onto it for a month, just to ensure that they can gouge peeps 3- 5 times what the resource is worth. Its not a respectable trade imo, its like a paycheck advance place. Just not something to be proud of.

Before you go trying to tear me a new **edit**, your the one with the useless post. Your telling Armorsmiths to go be architects to make money. Do you mean that someone who wants to be an armorsmith needs to be an Architect to make money? Go post that **edit** on the Architect forum then.
And I don't price gouge. I sell a standard 3cpu on the bazaar unless it crap grind QL. But you wouldn't know nothing about that, since your telling me to make money as an Armorsmith I need to be an Architect to and make statues no one cares about. Why grind a profession I don't want to make money? I sell my resources to fools like you who buy them. You got 18 steps to make money, I got 2; dig it up and sell it.
Maybe I should tell novice brawlers the best way to TKM is by using a pike. Sounds dumb? its the same backwards ass philosophy you are spitting out here.
Think twice before you open your mouth next time.

Maybe you should read his thread.

The only reason he is saying take architect is to make your own harvestors, instead of paying 150-200k architects want.

I have over 5 million credits in game. What do i spend it on? You guessed it....NOTHING!!! Money on most servers is worth nothing. There is too much of an abundance of it going around and too little to spend it on. My 5 million will probably last me till my dying day in game. Ohh yea, I make armor and sell it for very very cheap.

Inoch,

Master AS of wanderhome

Now see that? Inoch has the picture. He isn't telling me to go be a Master Architect to make money. Then what happens when my money runs out and I already sold my Master Architect? I go grind it again?

Just keep a few hundred thousand on standby at any given time and you don't have to worry about money. Until we get ships or something to REALLY blow our money on, money isn't a problem if you got the time and effort to make it.

Should change your name to bullheaded.

He;s not saying master architect to make money, he's saying master it to make your own harvestors, (and fund yourself on the way to armorsmith)

Your not going to become filthy stinking rich selling resources on the bazzar at 3 cpu with a 4 ber harv.... I guess this might be too high speed of a guide for you guys. Oh well, shame it was wasted.

I plopped down some BER4 personals on a new spawn of 999SR kammris iron, threw in enough maintenance and power to run through the spawn, and ended up with 180K units. Sold them on the forum in a 48hour auction for 10cpu. Took a grand total of about an hour to clear 1.8mil, with no grinding involved. Paying attention to current resources the chances are you can repeat this every week or so.

Architect doesn't have anything on mining when it comes to quick and easy money.

I liked this guide. While I no longer need harvesters, it is a good guide for those starting out. Why discourage people from writing guides like this? People will read and use what is useful to them.

It would cost you just as much to grind architect as it does to buy the harvestors.

NM, I have a master architect character that provides all my harvestors, factories andcrafting stations. So I agree that it is a good idea in that aspect.

Personally, I found griding armorsmith easier and it took me a lot less time. Way cheaper too. You can get all resources for grindinf AS for 3 cpu and under. Ore is 3 cpu and up, never seen it cheap.

This is not the way I woudl do it....adn I have personal experience. I finished Architect last night as a holo-grind, with my MAS character. I found architect to be just as painful/slow to gather the resources for....and the best harvester I cna make is only a BER9 medium....(I have bought all mine at Ber13).

My suggestion for becoming rich...grind armorsmith first....while gathering the materials for 12 suits of Ubese....that isn't too much to do really. Sell the Ubese at 150k per suitand buy heavies with each suit sale, spendtwo suits on10 factories....one on chemical, an dthe other 9 on mineral.Boom! You have the harvies now, and you are Master Armorsmith...saving you the time it would have taken to do Architect as well.

Early on, I set up my macro to grind and I did this while running survey missions. I could grind several k worth of xp on a tripRUNNING 1000m away. So I made 800 per mission per trip...1.6k per two missions, and got a few thousand xp on the way. Programmable mice was the key. and the keymap button for autorun, and you can make plenty of cash and xp this way.

I love how the original poster posts disputable information....then gets pissed when no-body agrees with him...and calls us all ungrateful for not simply bowing to his superior methodology. well here you go buddy.
