Thread: Couple Questions....kinda simple.

3. There are a ton of new named resources. My older unused layers show "0" on stats. Are they toast? Also, on these new resources, should I "as in the old days" worry more about layers and work up the ladder? they are toast, I gave up and deleted all mine. Try to cap unlayered stuff then work on layers.
4. And finally. I can probably find this...but are the "battle, recon, assault" armor types placing limits on whats classes can use what? How has this effected what sells? no limitations cept wook wear wook armor, Ithorian wears Ithorian. And human/zab only on imp helmets

2. Buff gives: 15% xp bonus, 2% resource quality bonus, 10% assembly bonus, 10% experiment bonus. Note that these are +10% to assembly and experiment successfulness, NOT like a +10 SEA.
3. I wasn't an AS pre-CU. However, I wouldn't worry about layers right away yet. Start with segments and cores and work on getting capped armor. (6000 is the cap, plus or minus the 1000 point adjustmeents in recon and battle)

So the though here is to max the unlayered before worry about layers? I just want to make sure. So if I have awesome resources for Primus Layers (Engy/Kin yes?) then thats not as significant as pre CU days?
So work top down versus bottom up?

I do not do any factory runs of layered stuff personally
do factory runs of capped unlayered armor (equivalent to your 80% kin composite sales preCU)
do layered armors for special orders, or to keep a few suits on vendor. Also use for factional and R.I.S.
unlayered stuff sells fine if it is capped, not like preCU where unlayered stuff would never sell
Ahhh ok guys got it. I noticed a bunch of AS's out there had 6000/6000 stuff for sale. So thats the capped correct?
That helps alot but it seems that may be a bit easier to cap, correct? That kinda neuters us a bit wouldn't yu say? Removing the layer chemistry?
I can tell ya...I ran around looking for layer resources for 2 nites and the stats were ugly.....many of em gated?

Yes, 6K across the board for Battle, + and/or - 1000 E/K for Recon and Assault.

Exactly. Armor making is all about the resources used. Very dumb indeed.
And yes, you only need 5600/6000 or 933.34 on average OQ+SR resources (or 915.06 average if you consider the musician buffs) to hit cap.

also new and very important for you is the change that the upper gates( and good it is just the upper)are not limiting the resource quality anymore, so an Alantium Carb Ore with OQ 1000 and SR 115 would compare to OQ 1000, SR 1000 pre CU.
I can obviously check this when I get home, but I'm just curious.....does the interface tell you which ones are current, or do you have to compare to your survey tool listing to figure that out?
