i am a 4003 as and i needed as trainging, so i look up a as and ask him for training
the response i get is
"@$%^ off"

This is not a phenomenon of the armorsmith community. I think you mean some people in general.

interesting concept. I didn't know AS were the only person/profession associated with A$$ HOles.
If you are a rebel, I wouldn't have trained you either

ehh soo are the people that demand to be trained.. and dont even say thank you or give ya a tip... its not the amount but its a nice jesture to tip someone for helping um out.. Ive never not tiped for training and most times its more than what it would of cost me if i trained myself just for saving me the hassle. Ive also made toons on new servers with basicaly no cash or help and have tiped my last few creds to a medic that healed me or a dancer that entertained.. or a scout that trained me in hunting 3.. soo i dont want to hear the excuse i have no money...
I personally dont train people.. mainly cause im always in the middle of nowhere.. and when i say sure im 5k from the nearest port.. i get.. gee thanks for nothing, orid rather just go pay.. really nice people ehh???

maybe he had a bad day....
I know sometimes i get a zillion tells and i am not in the mood to answer everything. He might have done better just saying something else but it could be he just said the first thing that popped in. Without knowing what his situation it's hard to judge him I think.
That being said there are always better ways to ask to be left alone
