Thread: Petition: Make Interwoven RIS Convert Somewhat Better than Non-Interwove R.I.S

The title of the post basically says it all.

This is a petition for the devs to give interwoven RIS armor a bonus in the conversion process as opposed to non-interwoven RIS. I'm thinking 15% or so would be fair, as the interwoven stuff costs an awful lot more than the non-interwoven stuff. For those who don't know, it requires rare items looted from the acklay to make in addition to the other RIS components. If NS crafted stuff has a bonus, I don't see why interwoven RIS wouldn't too. Just my opinion.

/sign away if you think interwoven RIS deserves to be better. I just think that it's fair.

I agree. But here's the problem i see, what if a non-interwoven had a 3% less base than an interwoven? what would happen? The interwoven would just become better. It's a good idea, in theory... lol

The biggest problem, I think, is that the system has absolutely no way of knowing whether you made your RIS with an interwoven segment or not.

if a cube was used, then its interwoven. if 3 layers were used, then its interwoven. many ways.

I doubt that the system retains the actual crafting information on the segment used to create the final armor.

You guys do make some good points. But if not giving a bonus for interwoven RIS, then give better armor with higher base values. For instance, I got 80% base out of my RIS that was made with interwoven schematics. Shouldn't that convert better than 53% base RIS?

Correct the system dumps all the components into a virtual bucket and takes the Sum of them all when crafting.

So you are saying that it isn't apparent that the "Sum" of interwoven isn't drastically higher? and still being converted at identical stats?

While I agree in principle that RIS with 80/80 stats and low-HAMshould convert much better than 80/50 or 70/20 or anything else ... how do you do that under the new system? Given what we've seen of conversion so far, nothing is converting particularly well ... and that makes me a sad panda.

Yeah, I think I'm going to cry when I see what my Exceptional DXR-6b will turn into, since it's no longer considered a master-level weapon.

Yeah, well they say alot of things, but I dont get the vibe they are holding themself to it, particularly with the post deletion and all that. They dont want to hear the well written negatives to their CU.
