hmm...no question is a dumb question...(there are no stupid questions, just stupid people) J/K.......but yea.....being master artisan would not make much of a difference if a difference at all.......Though, most armorsmiths pick up novice tailor for the cloths.....but that wasnt part of your question. If you havnt mastered artisan yet, do it....its quick and easy.....

It does help if you want to make shields though, as two of the components required are master artisan items.
Also, you probably are going to get artisan pretty filled up after going up to tailor, maybe merchant and from surveying so it's probably no bad idea to just finish it off in any case.

If you have specific questions I'm sure we'd be happy to help you. Kind of hard to throw out information when we don't know where you are as a crafter and what you want to do.

Only advice that comes to mind is that broken stuff will be broken for a long time to come. We don't get fixes, no matter how loud and long we complain. Armorsmithing "works," which I suppose is more than some classes can say, but this game really needed more time in development. We will try to help with any questions, but don't ask for fixes, you won't get any.
