Thread: Money Making?

I'm finally climbing my way into Novice Rifleman. I've followed the plethora of suggestions regarding power-ups, food, spice, armor, etc. The problem now is getting the money to acquire all of those things. Since I am a Scout aiming at Ranger, I am trying out some of Brisc's mon(k)ey making ideas.

Do you Rifleman have any suggestions for efficient money making?

Thanks,

I dunno how -efficient- it is, really, but I enjoy taking 8 - 9k piket missions on Dantooine. With ConcealShot and some luck (and time) it's not that bad. Not very -efficient- perhaps, compared to other methods, but it's what I use to pay the bills. Lord knows I can't pay the bills with my dancing skills and 100cr tips.

Get an big pet/AT-ST or pair up with a friend that has one and hit the Kunga missions on dantooine. 30+K each. Hit a handfull of those and you'll be just peachy.

Are the Kunga missions still available since the mission-nerf in the last patch? I used to get almost 40K missions when grouping with a friend and pets, but now I don't see them anymore (even though I'm master rifleman now and should get higher missions I thought). General missions payout seems to be decreased greatly...

Kunga missions are no longer the ATM that they once were. Essentially the Devs made another pass over missions and dropped some of the harder planet payouts while increasing the easier planet's.

As far as money making - rely on your ranger skills for that. Done right you'll never need to take another mission for cash again.

#1 go to www.swgcraft.com and get familiar with their resource database.

#2 go find a nice armoursmith, doctor, bioengineer and maybe a combat medic. Ask them if they are in need of organic resources - then ask what stats they like. You can also get this info from the relevant forums. Check on your galaxy's board as well for people in need of resources.

#3 Use swgcraft to find the best resources in your galaxy - contribute stats yourself when you can. Go to that planet and harvest as much as possible - take missions if that's an option for the creatures in question and you can get money from the mission and the resources you sell later.

This is seriously the way to go - you could get more money by grinding mission after mission if you wish, but this is more interesting (in my view) plus if you build a nice relationship with a crafter you can probably trade resources for goods (armour, BE clothing, buffs and stims, etc) at a much better exchange than just selling the resources.

I used to do all the things listed in this thread until I found out that I could kill krayts with just the help of my pets. Now I am making money in upwards of 500k to 1 Mil a night if I have a good night and good luck with dragon loot. Krayt Tissue on my server fetches great prices as do Krayt pearls. When you don't have to share the loot with a group the payout is sooo much better especially when you find a set of identical tissues on a Krayt. People will pay out the a$$ for complete sets.

I'd just do regular missions and level up some.. at novice rifleman you shouldn't be shooting the rifle so fast that draining your mind is such a huge problem.. so the effects of food aren't too big a deal, and the missions should be low enough level that powerups aren't too big a deal either. I'd just get the best rifle i could (non-krayt), shouldn't cost more than 30k, level up doing the missions that were the best possible xp.. the money will come as you do the missions, and the payouts will increase as you level up. I found that by the time I hit master rifleman I wasabout a million in the green, .

Find out where the wooly hide is hot and start harvesting it. You'll master ranger before you master rifleman Then sell off the wooly, so between the missions and the hide sales your styling.

yea harvesting is a very profitable business =). find a tailor/amorsmith who needs a certain kind of hide and do business just for them. they'll usually give you more CR per unit cuz you'll supply them continually and with what they want. ravanous torton missions on rori are great for large amounts of wooly hide and for great xp. about 4k creds when grouped with 1 other person.

probably made about 60-80 million in the last 2 weeks... As of this morning I had about 33 million in the bank, and I've spent tons on resource deeds and hide.

The only catch to this is I have to make about 20-30 suits of imperial armor a day, sometimes more. And that's just the imperial armor, not counting the fully stocked vendors I have for all other types.
