Player respec is now live in some galaxies on TC. Bria's files have been transfered and you ARE able to respec your character as we speak.
As was feared only combat professions may be respec'd. Nerf the crafters seems to be the devs flavor of the month. At least it isnt us. I will test sometime tonight if crafters may drop their skills and use the points to respec to combat.

I also have not had any respec of my creatures levels so far. All my creatures have remained their levels. Am I in some wierd bizarro version of TC? I am in TC4 playing my original charcater hmmm....
ok on further testing it is making me respec only certain pets, and are you guys ready to cry? the one's it is not making me respec are my supply of non-ch pets, semi-ubers. It may just be slow or a bug

So what about decently-madetriplets or twins? Those respec'ing into unusables?
While I haven't invested as much as many other CHs have in BE pets (I used wild GSPs until around the 4/4/3/4 mark and got my 60% kin resist razor as a semi-gift), it's going to cause quite an uproar if the custom built pets people have had made become unusable. The BEs are already going to be overloaded with work making all the medical crafting items except sub-par Stim B's as it is, adding the need to recreate all the CH pets is going to be a nightmare.

so far it seems majorly bugged. it has only made me respec one pet, a dlaydrake that was 11k/8k/8k made it 9k all around. I just tested on one of my uber lvl 10 cats and it has done nothign to it
I think the sensor system that tells when to make you respec a pet is not operating right. but here is some data aboutr respec
DO NOT think you can pick up 10 novice proffs then respec two elites, 4 pools will exist......Novice, Standard, Elite, Jedi
Npovice points can only be use to make more novice spots, so drop em quick if you dont want em and grind your brawler skills or something.
standard is non-elite profession points
Elite is....guess.
Note if you have spare points it auto respecs any prerequisites you need for your present elite skills.

Just thought you guys would like to know, so far the respec is not going to allow crafters to respec ANY of their skills in the crafting trees. ONLY combat skill trees are available EVEN for removal. Not only are crafters being hamstringed, they are also locking them from switching to combat.
begin the Dev bashing.....

A word on combat levels for CH. As it stands now I am 80th level on conversion. Master swords and CH, 2440 brawler, 1014 medic, and 4040 scout. Not sure what it is giving me for those medic points but as it stands looks like CH recieves about 3/4 the bonus and lvl as another elite comabt prof. I am 2900 health so we seem to be allowed to be survivable. All in all it seems we are now being set a place at the table. Withanother combat prof we are now very capable members of combat. This being because we are the ONLY ones able to use up to 4 weapons. BTW my scythes transferred so uber it is funny, one is now 440-900 damage with an acid elemental attack. my power hammer(a weak one) is 500-1000 damage.

can you explain how they are 'Locking' us from dropping skills? We should be able to drop any skill at any time.

I think he means they are giving combat guys a respec but crafters have to drop and REGRIND to get switch professions after the CU.

With as much change all crafting professions are going through, there's no reason why crafters shouldn't be able to respec too.

yes, the artisan trees are locked in the respec screen (which is now live on beta TC, Gorath and Bria galaxies only) You can move and transfer only your combat and Jedi skill points.

I totally agree. Entertainers are in the same boat. As far as we can tell right now (I have a master dancer alt) the bonuses from the master buffs... are no better or different than master entertainer (The basic class that comes before master Dancer/Musician/ID)
