Thread: Armorsmith Resource Dictionary v2.4

I just became a Master Armorsmith a few weeks ago, and as I've started my profession I've put this excel spreadsheet together. Currently I only have Composite and Ubese listed, as those are the most popular, but I hope to integrate every armor type eventually.

The spreadsheet shows what resources are needed for each armor type, and what amount. This is also useful is you want to make 10 full suits, you will now exactly how many resources of each type are required to make it. In addition I've started to list the "gates" for each resources attributes. Basically this info, and the spreadsheet in general, should make it easier to find the needed resources and quickly identify what makes a resource "good." Gate numbers are partially from the below thread and from my own research at swgcraft.com.

Feedback is VERY MUCH appreciated. If this is something people find valuable I will continue to develop it. (Actually, I'm going to develop it anyways for myself, but if anyone else likes it then I will post the updates.) Thanks.

Cool spreadsheet and very useful!

I was just about fed up with busting out my calculator to figure how much I needed of each resource when I'm doing factory runs. You beat me to it!

One suggestion though...

Adding OQ to the "Resources Gates" sheet would be nice, even though there is no cap. It's just helpful for everyone seeing all of the relevant stats side by side. And, a newbie armorsmith might not know OQ isn't capped.

The other annoying thing I was having to do was look at spreadsheets constantly trying to remember what resources everything used. Now if only excel ran better with swg open.

Nice format . I have a similar spreadsheet that i use for myself but its not half as nice as this one. Can you add in the different layer types ?

Since you ask for feedback, here is mine:

Very handy, but a little too static for me. Would be nice to have the following options:

- ability to enter number of suits wanted giving resources needed

- ability to enter amount of resources available giving amount of suits that can be made

And if you could implement the model that tells me what armor stats I can obtain given certain resource stats and experimentation point distributions, I can quit trying to figure this out myself

Good start but I think you should show what it takes for certain factory run.

Example For a complete run of Stun Composite:

Stun Layers (1000) x 3
25 Metalper = 25,000 (1000) x 3 (3000)
10 Vertex per = 10,000 (1000) x 3 (30,000)
12 Crism per = 12,000 (1000) x 3 (36,000)

1000 (990) Adv Comp Segs (using the 3000 layers made above)
16 Colat per = 16,000
8 Kiiriumper = 8,000
5Polysteel per = 5,000

Then I can go on for the final pieces but I won't you get the point right? Most people do runs of 3000 layers to make 1000(990) segments for a complete run of about 45 Suits.

But once again great spreadsheet.
