I haven't played with PSGs yet post-CU, so I can't answer all these questions.
1) yes
2) IMP PSGs should have more resists if they are like pre-CU and based on ones that were converted they also add +10 to melee and ranged accuracy. Again, I have not made one post-CU
3) can't tell you
4) will depend on your server....looks like people on Kettemoor are selling converted IMP PSGs for 30-35k on the high end. They converted with about 1971 in energy resist. Not sure about condition.

1) Yes
2) The imp prototype has +10 general ranged accuracy AND +10 general melee accuracy mods. Not really, I used the best to ever spawn resources for the imp PSG's and got 2399 energy, 7098 condition, and 70.4 regen, now this is only 1 amazing, with a dual amazing I can get 74.5 regen with that much energy. (capped protection) Now I can drop to about 2200 energy and get over 80 regen with a single amazing, but at 70 it can keep up with just about any punishment that can be tossed against it, and you take less damage as well.
3) your regen is wicked, but try a tad more energy and soot for about 70+ regen, that way you take less damage per hit and the shield will not drain as much as well.
4) MKIII's 2415 energy, 65.4 regen 7k condition I charge 50k a pop and cant keep them in stock now that there fixed. Imp PSG's I sell for 500k a pop (and going up)... 500k for a PSG are you nuts?!!?!? NOPE how much do you think a +10 to both melee and ranged accuracy would sell for in a CA? 5-10 mill each? and it wont protect you from energy damage lol.
Jedi can wear this and the melee applies to there Sabers and the ranged applies to there force power attacks... and gives them 2400 energy protection from ranged attacks, how cool is that lol
Now each server is differant, test the supply and demand of yours, put some up for sale, if there gone fast up the price, supply and demand.
I noticed some artisan components now have quality stats or something, they still have no effect on the final crafted result of psg's right?

Thanks for the input and good follow up Stinky - I assumed that the MA components did matter to final combines so used some good resources for them. Next time I'll not be so picky.
So I'll shoot for a bit higher on the resist and less on the recharge and hope for some better successes.
To answer the question on imp PSGs vs MKIII PSGs in regards to energy resists. As I made these rather extensively on TC back when the CU came about. I've noticed that ontop of the mods. Imp PSGs when crafted both start with a higher energy resist, and regen rate. And the energy resist cap on an imp PSG is slightly higher than that of a MKIII
I cant for the life of me remember the caps now. But if you dig back far enough you'll likely find my posts.

good point on the +10 and what that would sell for in a CA. I hadn't thought about it that way. I have some very happy customers now. I'm going to have to rethink the price.

Hmmm..yep, must have forgot that. That rings a bell, but don't remember when that happened. Was that a CU change?
You have to take the time to complete the quests.
Then you get the schematic that only allows 10 creations.
Then you have to make factory runs (or rob from MK3 parts runs)
Then you make ONE at a time...and they break in any fight that last more than a few minutes.
If they want them to be hand made...that's fine...but then make it a one time learn schematic like the Mando Wine. Of course...they can make runs of Mando Wine no can't they?
So where I am going with this? They are great PSG's...just not worth the effort anymore.
