But they wear out and break so fast it's not worth the time to craft them! I think they shoud bring back the factory run option but just change it so you can run say....100 instead of 1000.

Well, if you are only crafting IMP psgs then you are probably right its not worth the effort. However, if you have a bnuch of sub-components made for other PSGs it doesn't take much to craft 5 of them. I think they are big sellers for those that want to put an ADK on them with the skill mods. But that isn't something for the masses.

Whoa, hang on here. PSGs do not protect against lightsabers. They only protect against ranged energy damage, or at least that's the way they are supposed to be working. And force powers do kinetic damage, correct? So a PSG is useless against them.

He's saying that the melee and ranged mods apply to the jedi when the jedi is wearing the Imp PSG. For a low level padawan or a knight with little defense, that 2400 energy protection can be a big help if the jedi is facing ranged enemies.

Lol..... seems there are a ton of AS that underestimate their worthiness and don't consider their time and resources of much value either

1) Yes
2) The imp prototype has +10 general ranged accuracy AND +10 general melee accuracy mods. Not really, I used the best to ever spawn resources for the imp PSG's and got 2399 energy, 7098 condition, and 70.4 regen, now this is only 1 amazing, with a dual amazing I can get 74.5 regen with that much energy. (capped protection) Now I can drop to about 2200 energy and get over 80 regen with a single amazing, but at 70 it can keep up with just about any punishment that can be tossed against it, and you take less damage as well.
3) your regen is wicked, but try a tad more energy and soot for about 70+ regen, that way you take less damage per hit and the shield will not drain as much as well.
4) MKIII's 2415 energy, 65.4 regen 7k condition I charge 50k a pop and cant keep them in stock now that there fixed. Imp PSG's I sell for 500k a pop (and going up)... 500k for a PSG are you nuts?!!?!? NOPE how much do you think a +10 to both melee and ranged accuracy would sell for in a CA? 5-10 mill each? and it wont protect you from energy damage lol.
Jedi can wear this and the melee applies to there Sabers and the ranged applies to there force power attacks... and gives them 2400 energy protection from ranged attacks, how cool is that lol
Now each server is differant, test the supply and demand of yours, put some up for sale, if there gone fast up the price, supply and demand.

Excuse my noobness but how exactly does a PSG break? from time used? or damage absorbed?

They're supposed to lose a little condition each time they have to recharge. So they wear out because of damage but not directly FROM the damage.
