well, I'd have to say just wait til master cm to start using poisons and disease. The A and B levels are just not worth the effort to make. Aoe's will complement your healing skills nicely and you'll benefit from the doctor side of crafting the subs. same with the ranged stims. You'll be limited to 4 boxes in one weapon type on the marksman tree with 4 points left over. I've tried 4 in carb, then 4 in pistol, 3 in carb and 3 in pistol, and really to be honest pistol is the way to go. Carbs just take too long to shoot, and this affects your throwing time. I've toyed around with having 4 pistol and 1 box in rifle for the headshot1 but havent worked on rifle enough to get it heh. Throwing speed is critical for us.

TN is supposed to be in the support line.

thats ranged healing speed and cm med use right?

probably a waste of point IMO.

Currently for how our templates act with crafting and whatnot, you really need to be at master level to be effective on the poison/disease side of the class. If you are just interested in the healing side, then you can tweak it around more freely.

on a tactical application of CMs, once the revenge TEF is taken care of, distance for target and the ability to maintain that seperation will be critical for continued fighting. You do NOT want to be within50m of a commando/BH/pistoleer in a fight. Ideally you should hang back from your group, and try to maintain about a 60m distance from the fighting. Why? simple. throw one bomb into a pvp group and you are most assuredly going to be public enemy #1. My preference is 60m fora couplereasons. ranged stims and single use poisons. I can toss a SU poison 61m with the current batch i'm using. ranged stims i can toss those 71m. Depending on what my group needs, I can support them or heal from a distance and be relatively safe. this also gives me a cushion for the throw animation stopping me in my tracks. If the group is getting hammered and everyone is getting hit, i can move up to within 40m and toss an AOE then drop back to my distance and lob the other stuff.

also at 60m, the above classes take penalties for shooting that far, granted its not much at the master levels, but by constantly moving, any shot that misses me means I'm alive that much longer.

I've heard rumours that a non master CM can toss poisons made by an MCM the same distance, i cant confirm this. If its true, then you might be able to tweak some more. You'll just have to buy your poisons.

I picked up a clothing attachment with +3 unarmed accuracy on it, just wondering how much would that be worth?

It also has +2 polearm counterattack.

I realise different servers have different economies, but just as a rough estimate?

Greetings fellow tailors,

My name is Nashia and I am new to the art of tailoring. I wanted to ask the advice of the 'veteran' tailors of swg ... I've recently set up a little boutique outside Coronet, and I am curious as to what are the going rates of items? Is there a formula that is generally used(minus the calculator linked in other posts - too tedious). I'm looking for something simple .. for example:

(unit of resources used) X (xcredits) + (amount) = selling price

or

(unit of resource used) X (xcredits) X (x%) = selling price

Something that I could use for all items sold ... something simple that will make the vendor loading easier .. and the pricing consistant. I figured I would ask here before I started the pricing, as to not undercut anyone.

Thanks in advance.

Nashia

I generally went with around 10cpu for clothing with a 1.5x modifier for tier 4 and master items.

Recently I went through and standardized all my pricing tho, rounding prices to the nearest 500 credits, so my pricing isn't exact anymore.

I use the really neat tailor pricing calculator stickied above (somewhere) which lets you charge a cpu value, but also lets you charge more for factory components, so you can calculate in maintenence costs and whatnot in your formula. It even has a "multiplier" feature so you can charge more cpu for higher level clothing.
