I am very very close to MBH and just started using armor last week. My primary stats are 825 and my secondaries stats are around 475ish (I think).

You should try using that drink Breath of something (I don't remember the name). It increases your secondary stats by 400+ (the second ones that effect specials cost) and does not have the side effects of spice (no puking etc.). Also when you drink it, your stats increase to full automatically without waiting for it to slowly reach its peak like with spice. I buy the stuff in crates and actually have a drink of 10 hotkeyed for easy use.

If I remember correctly from the Player's Guide too it's a Master Chef product.

Hi!

I recommend you see a better armorsmith before you condemn yourself to Neutron Pixie Annonymous. For example, I have made a nice suit of 54% composite that had 309/268/319 HAM requirements. If my HAM sliced composite is over 400/400/400 I feel I have done something wrong. If you want layered armor, I have done some of these that have 56% all, 80% (your favorite resist here), still for under 400/400/400. The key is to get a good master smuggler slice on armor made with high Maleable materials.

If you have have armor that has high ecumbrance and don't have the $$ to pay for the best HAM sliced suit, try visiting a chef. There is a nice 2 food combination that will buff all of the required stats.

Armor, I don't need no stink'n armor! Actually I only use a 58% unsliced (I'm lazy) composite helmet for protection from my brethern in pvp, heh. Other than that I have a couple of outfits taht I'm working on to get my ultimate individual look (until the next guy copies me and I have to start over). Any who armor is ok but it's not what we want it to be. I'm not going to suggest any changes because...well...our opinions have been said, it's up to them to decide.

I'll never speak badly of armor again. My composite boots took a hit that would have easily killed me earlier tonight. Stopping Shot for 1239... armor absorbed over 1000 of it (must have been non-armor piercing weapon the mark was using). I only have 900 action, so that would have been a one-shot kill. I've had several other major hits tonight that my armor has allowed me to completely ignore and keep going to take out those lvl 31 marks.

If your secondary stats aren't set up to wear a full suit of composite, you shouldat least try to wear the helm, chest, legs, and boots. You'll see that your arms and hands do get hit a lot but it's better than standing around asking to be hit hard.

You do have enough points altogether to wear a good composite suit that isn't all encumbrance sliced. Your max on health, action, and mind just won't be really high.

I'm still running around without the arms and gloves, but after tonight I think I'll look at the stat migration so I can.

I'm running a full set of composite right now, not all advanced, but working on it. Being Zabrak, I had to get it all sliced for encumbrance. Got lucky, and only went through about 3 sets (my guildmates love me). My HAM is set up like this

H 865/ S 500/ C 400

A 925/ Q 415/ S 400

M 660/ F 475/ W 760

Most of those are species maximums. I wish I could have a higher mind, due to an influx of Pistolqueers on my server, but eh.

if youre just pvp'ing just wear the helmet and the chest piece and model your stats 900/400/400 900/400/400 1000/500/500

works fine

How do the different pieces work? I assumed that they just kind of all pooled together for an average reduction. Are they affected by the "hit head", "hit right arm", etc. combat floaties, thus a helmet is wonderful for PvP due to eyeshot reduction? And how do biceps/bracers/gloves and leggings/boots work together against leg and arm shots? do the three just average? I don't know much about armor. I have a very nice adv. composite helmet, but i never use it.
