Thread: stats for RIS

i need some help. i have seen RIS stats get up to 5.5k on base protections with 6.5k energy/kinetic protections, but i cannot figure out how to get my stats above 5.1k base, i am a 12 pt master armorsmith, i have the best resources generated from a 30k resource deed, and i have a +43% crafting station (the only thing that isnt perfect), the only thing that i can think of doing is getting a perfect crafting station or mix matching layers, but would a 2% increase in the station really make that big of a difference? plz let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks

Are you using primus layers? That'll get your base up a ton.

yes, i just tried that and the highest i can get my stats is 4.4k base and 5.5k kin/energy

post your resources for segs, cores and primus layers and we will tell you the weak link


I am thinking you don't have the best ever (swgcraft is very out of date on a lot of stuff both old and new)

My RIS is:


6,000 across the board (unlayered)

and 94,000 (roughly) condition.


You musn't be using the good stuff, cause my primus layered RIS is over 6,500 Kinetic and Energy, with about 5,500 Elemental.

here are the stats for my resources on the primus layers:


Extrusive Ore:


CR-967, DR-964, HR-971, MA-548, OQ-977, SR-987, UT-974


Steel:


CR-419, CD-285, DR-708, HR-798, MA-193, OQ-240, SR-724, UT-671


Polymer:


DR-761, MA-742, OQ-992, SR-491, UT-805


Gravitonic Fiberplast:


DR-629, MA-713, OQ-908, SR-733, UT-675


Aluminum:


CR-971, CD-704, DR-42, HR-881, MA-725, OQ-905, SR-438, UT-70


If the problem does not exist here, plz let me know and i will list the stats on the segments. Thanks for all your help

Theres your problem. Those resources I listed in red are not good enough to be used in the crafting of high end armor, or even decent armor. You're gonna need to get much better stuff, I try to have at least 1600 combined OQ/SR, while usually I have 1800 or 1900.

yep he about answered it all, you really need to upgrade steel since it spawns high quality stuff pretty regularly, so you can easily stock up with a mill or so units of steel in the OQ+SR >1600-1800 range


also you need to get kinetic/energy to 6000 BEFORE you start layering it, so get that fixed before you upgrade your primus layers

i think i have hit the cap at 6535 kinetic and energy and 5465 on elementials ... totalling 12000 .... i have made them with different cores and the stats might vary slightly say 6530/5470 but still adding up to 12000.
