how do i do that, if i used unlayered segments than my elemental protections are the same as my kinetic/energy protections, and the highest i can get them up to is 5.4k unlayered

Rolfie: something i try preaching to all my costomers - to no avail mostly they don't understand that putting layers in to get the 'cap' and only an extra 4-5% damage reduction has to cost x3 the unlayered when it uses x3 the materials and time.

I fully understand the cost of layering and selling armor.

I have explained to people why it cost as much as it does.

When I showed people if Armor was sold at 20cpus why it should and would cost 275K per suit.

What I don't understand is the cost versus beneift, and evenbothering to try to raise armor resist beyond 6300.

Again if 6300 is 50% and 10,000 is 60%. The cost of trying to reach that goal is a waste of effort in my opinion.

Its a lofty goal mind you to reach but I quetion whether the effort is worth it to a consumer.

When I make armor with my altmy only goal is hitting 6300 keeping condition high and keeping my cost down and carrying on the cost savings to the people who buy my armor when I make it.

So I harvest my own resources, fly to earn faction, and try to keep my overhead as low as possible.

So when I see post in ther trade along the lines of MY armor is best I have Capped battle armor and RIS. It just leaves me thinking big deal so you stop 1 precent more than I do. Its the sheep who fall for this and willingly buy armor costing way to much money.

Right now the only Reason RIS cost as much as it does is because the drop rates for Gurk King Hidesare OTT and GDKs are a close second. Otherwise RIS would be a common armor and it looks alot better than wearing a condom on your head like Padded or a Snail's Shell like Marauder.
