Thread: Kashyyykian Armor

Not an AS (yet) but I was wondering if it is normal for the Wookiee Ceremonial Armor to be reduced to 0 almost 2-3 times as quickly as standard Ubese. I am blowing through sets of Kashyykian Armor way too quickly, I feel, and we all know how reliable armor repair tools are.

Thanks.

Add in the generally lower resists on Kashyyykian and you get a second reason why it decays faster. (armordecay depends on amount of damage passed through, but not in a 1 to 1 ratio of coarse)

Try a full day at the geo cave and you will find that a suit of wookie armor is totaled fairly quickly. My composite lasts me months, but for my alt wookie I run through armor like no tommorrow so it is normal to see your wookie goods fly off the vendor, look at it like a constant supply and demand gift from the devs.

Also due to the fact that the ceremonial Self destructs rather quickly when doing heavy fighting, Look for the best price on the suits... I have seen People who keep their vendor stocked with Suits of 53Kinetic/24 Base, and charge 135k a part...

I keep my current wookiee armor vendor stocked with 50/23's and the full suit costs 70k. Plus Replacement parts are running 15k for Bracers and Legs and 25k for the chest plate...

due to this fact, my 75%+ Kinetic Ubese sells for 68k per set and my wookie armor sells for around 40k or so (can't remember here at work how many segments are in it, but basically I charge 4k per segment)

Make it affordable and it sells all day long...

First complete RIS set made for myself on Aug 1, 2004 with stats of approx 75% Kinetic/4% Stun/5% Acid/65% Base/vuln to Lightsaber. (unsliced)

Even if the condition is the same on both sets, the Wook Armor is taking more hits (since fewer pieces cover the same slots), and the resists on Wook Armor are lower than on Ubese (more damage getting through = more damage to the suit).

Both reasons have been stated already, but there they are back to back

wow, bria prices are screwed up baad. I've seen wookiee armor on bria from 150-200k, and had been planning on selling it (if I ever bother making it) for around 200, or 250k.

My ubese is 280k a suit (76% ubese, 427mind ham) and it sells fairly fast.

I notice a fair number of AS's here talking about their armor selling like hotcakes.... is this really desirable? I was a slave to my crafting tool for a long time as a tailor, and when I switched to armorsmith I swore never again. My prices are high enough that I don't sell so fast I have to always be crafting more.

Theres a few reasons I keep my armor prices down,

1) I am a wookiee... and there for I want to get the armors out to my customers who are predomintly wookiees...

2) Its schematics are in personal armor 1 so its a low level armor, so it should stay cheap.

the only reason I have not droped the price to below 70k a suit is the stupid armor padding pillow that is getting hard to find now with out having to get special order together...

Sold a bunch of sets of 59/20 for 80K but the stats on the Yavian Leathery are down so the best I can make is 54/20. Will probably still sell it for 80K a set though. All unsliced.

Compare KC to Chitin not Ubese. KC -is- the equivalent of Chitin in all things except the KC requirement for identical segs and the specific materials used. The durability is in line with the type of armor it is and how much the chest/head piece gets hit (2 of the most hit locations in one piece which also covers 2 more spots).

I sell my KC (currently 53%) for 55K for the full suit or slightly more if bought as pieces. My ROI is decent but not huge. I let Composite armor subsidise the other armors to keep their prices a bit lower.

I am a Novice AS 4/1/0/0 I have now finished gathering my resources for the grind. I am now ready to start gathering resource for all 3 Kashyyykian Armor. The only problem isI can't seem to find listing on material need for this so if someone has a list for them can you please post them. I plan on starting with this type of armor and I would like to be able to make it for new and advanced player.I am just tryingto get a head start with gathering the materials for it while I am grindingAS out. I know there is alot of stuff to gather for the 2 new armor's but not sure on the old armor.
