Thread: A few questions.
I just started my pikeman. Right now Im a Zabrak. I noticed they have a small mind pool. Is this good? Since later on people can target your mind. Does this mean I'll drop in 3 hits to a rifleman?
Also from what I've gathered from other people, Zab's are the best choice for pikeman. Can anyone give me some facts to back this up? I was actually wanted to go Twi'lek, but if Zabrak is the best...
Thanks.
I don't know if Zabraks are the best Pikeman but I like mine. My mind pool is very good, but I started as an Artisan so maybe that is why. I have never had an issue with my Mind pool, but I haven't done any PvP yet, so, I can't say. I just think you need a huge action pool, and a good sized Health pool and some decent melee protection armor and you should be fine.
I can't wait to find a Master Weaponsmith, I want a **edit** Long Vibro Axe!!!
I am also playing Zabrak, and although I have no facts, I certainly look cool.
In addition, my mind is not too low, but I started as scout. Also, if you're not happy, do stat migration; by the time you're ready for PvP, you should be set, no?
I started as scout basically so I could get more equipment, but it doesn't really matter. I'm trained in Novice everything except entertainer ... I can make my own stims, use them to heal myself while in my own camp (that I built), fight with my pike and still get a beast's attention from 50m with my carbine. I am just going to remain novice at everything except for polearms (I'm at expert) and Scouting (I'm at Level II explore and trap). I think I want to do some creature handling also in the future ... we'll see.
I trained in everything, mostly because I'm on Rori and do a good bit of soloing. It's a lot of fun for me. I like to mess with everything.
Anyway, good luck.
Brawlers have a small mind pool but Zabrak have a high recharge rate for the mind pool. If your worried use stat migration or get a good helmet.

HI,
Well I'm pretty new to the games so i would appreciate it if u could help me out.
1. After u get a weapon sliced, can it be sliced again? And if no , how do u know if a weapon has been sliced in the first place?
2. I have a few armor enhancements but they dont seem to work.I drop them on my clothes and nothing happens. Now I dont know if its a bug or I'm doing it wrong, please help.
3. Ijust recently became a Imp, and I was wondering, how does the imp fp to training skills system work?
4. How could I make a macro to put on armor or take off armor. And to harvest a certain material. i.e. meat or bone, whenI use /harvest it sometimes does meat then other times it does hide
Thanx to those of u that helped.
1. Once a weapon has been sliced it can't be sliced again. The only way to know if it was sliced would be to write down the stats before trading it to the smuggler and compare when returned.
2. Armor enhancements work on Socketted Armor which is not in the game yet.
3. FP for training is 1 for 1. Spend 1000 points get 1000 XP in the skill, at least thats how it is for Rebels. This is really not worth it when you consider the effort needed to earn faction points, with exception of crafting but not all types of crafting is offered as a choice to train, like medical crafting.
4. Do not use harvestors so I can't help you there, sorry.
Sorry misread number 4. If you hold over the harvest selection on the radial menu a second menu should open giving the choice of Meat, Bone, or Hide.
Sorry
thanx for all the help,
But my 4th question ask about macros. I want to know how to make a macro that harvests a certain material. Like i.e /harvestmeat <- but that doesnt work /harvest works but it picks random materials I think
Ty for the help.
the command is /harvest meat....u need the space!
works for bone and hide too!
so the macro would just be:
/harvest whateverresourcetypeuwant
Armor macro...sry forgot that one!
Put your armor in a toolbar slot, and record which pane and slot it's in.
I'll use pane 5, slot 1 as the example here:
The panes start numbering with 0 (for the first pane) and go to 5 (for pane 6), so pane 5 is numbered as 4.
The toolbar slots start with 0 (for the F1 slot) and go to 11 (for F12). SHIFT+F1 slot is numbered 12 and goes to 23 for SHIFT+12.
So here u go:
/ui action toolbarPane 4; /ui action toolbarSlot 0
What this does is switch to Pane 5, and activate whatever is in slot 1. You can add a third line to get you back to the original pane that the call came from, and don't forget the semicolons. These commands are CaSe SenSiTiVe, so don't change any of the capitalization!
I try to answer the best I suppose/know
