Hey everyone,
I've been hunting Klikniks lately for their shells so I can get a set of low HAM Chitin made. I'veaquestion.
How many shells do I need in order to make the lowest HAM armour. (ie: does each piece of armour require 2 shells kind of thing).
Also, I'm on Intrepid and I was wondering if there were any AS out there who would be willing to make this set for me. Couple things here.
What colors does Chitin come in? How much will it cost me? How long will it take you to make it?

Contact me ingame. If you have a vendor, I have a buttload of klicknik shells you can have. Nice base % and low ham. You best bet is to gather all the final combine resources, and ask Tenn or Dova to hit combine for you, or find a new smith. Fiweest, Iwow, Oweiss, all would be good, I'm sure.

I've looted some very nice shells and made a set. The total HAM is around 150-180 per stat. Some of the resists are nice too. Can't remember which ones.
Problem with it....the kinetic is low. Around 30-35...if memory serves. And I experimented on special to get it as high as I could.
The shells are segments. So replace the ones you make.
There's an interesting thing I haven't experimented on. Because Chitin requires "similar" segments, I think you can use shells with different serial numbers and stats. I'm not sure how this effects the final outcome. For example....
20shells = 10%base -10/-10/-10
5 shells = 40%base -10/-7/-50
Which values stick? Can you put one of the second set into each piece and almost completely eliminate mind weight?
Can you add a crafted one to the mix and get higher kinetic?
I may try this tonight, if I haven't destroyed all of them.

I made some of this and the kinetic was like a nice chitin segment. Good resources and an advanved chitin segment can be a lot better.

Adv. Chitin is kinda crazy too. I've hit about 63% Kinetic with less encumberence than Ubese. As far as Reinforced Kliknik shells go, they make VERY nice armor if the base is high. I made a helm with a 17% segment and got about 40% base resists with barely any encumberence.

So is the Klicknik (sp?) armor better than ADV Chitin?
How much would Klik Chitin suit cost?
How much would a ADV Chitin suit cost?

In my opinion Advanced Chitin with Klicknik encancers would be best.
How much would Klik Chitin suit cost?
I lowball costs all the time. I would charge 50k if the whole suit was well crafted.
How much would a ADV Chitin suit cost?
I would charge about 25k for the whole suit.
What kinda colors can you get on a Chitin suit?
Brown, light brown, and bluish brown, and brown.
